HOPPE'S Boresnake® - Pistols & Revolvers Cleaner

Bore snake was recommended by Sig Guy. It works great but just remember to lube the bore snake with whatever you use to clean your bore BEFORE PUTTING IT THROUGH YOUR BORE. Or else it will be stuck in your bore. If it does become stuck then add oil to the barrel until it comes out the other side, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then pull with your muscle! Again remember to lube the bore snake before using it !

Loving this .22 boresnake. Just put a little oil on the loop end, and in the middle…then feed the bore through the barrel of your .22 rifle or pistol, and pull the entire snake through. Repeat a couple of times until it comes clean. Such a great snake bore and so easy to use.I am very pleased and highly recommend.

As an enthusiast, I’m always looking for products that fit into the category of convenient/useful or just plain old fun. For this product, I think it fits well into both of my categories. Not only is it very useful, and it saved me a lot of pain by not having it, but is also been something that I found many other people have had an interest in.Let me start by addressing the physical properties and overall construction quality. Other products are made of similar materials but I think this particular product has a slight edge in quality. I’ve looked at quite of few other at gun shows and competitions, so I have a very good idea of what I wanted in a product of this type. So far I would say that the quality of the materials is of high enough quality that it is satisfied my need while still maintaining a price within the budget that I would spend.Along with the quality of materials comes the quality of construction. Once again, comparing this product to similar products on the market it appears that the quality of construction is above average. I must admit, though, that there are a couple parts – especially with the unique features of this product – them simply not sure whether it is a positive or negative. This may seem an odd statement, especially from someone trying to give a fair review to the product itself, but what I’m saying is that if a product is on the leading edge of production or design it may often have a particular feature which is different from other products. In this case, I think one of those features is how it interacts with the gun itself. So far I would say that fit is very good in the part of the reason is the quality of materials.While on the topic of materials and fit let me say that it is important to have something that can be easily mounted on the rifle or handgun and can be just as easily removed. This is that type of good. In addition, it does the job designed but I believe does it at a much higher level than other products in the same price range.Let me close my comments by inserting the legal claims required by Amazon. I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for a promise to provide an honest and unbiased opinion. To provide that opinion I have used the product extensively over the past several weeks or months, and I’ve used the product as it was designed to be used. In this case, the product has been put through an above average usage – meaning used in conjunction with high fire rate or lots of usages probably a bit higher than normal. This is the perfect product for a 22 caliber pistol works amazing on my Taurus TX 22 before this I had purchased the Viper from the same company and it did not fit through the barrel
