Larger than expected - Good quality
I was looking for a shell pouch for skeet/sporting clays, and this was more than I hoped for! It had most of the features I was looking for:- Box pouch to hold a box shells neatly and conveniently until loading. Standard box fits well in the top w/ a little extra room which makes putting it in/taking it out smooth.- Large main section to hold enough spent shells for the day of shooting (~100+ shell casings)- Zippered bottom of main section for easily dumping shells without removing the pouch!!!- Side zippered section for eye protection and a hook&loop strap to hold ear protection on the other side- Adjustable belt w/ quick release buckleUpon arrival, I noticed that it is MUCH LARGER than it appeared to be from the stock photo... VERY big main section. It can easily hold 150 shells (tested with 6 boxes unopened). This is not a negative, but just something to be aware of, as I wasn't thinking it would be so large.Overall quality is good. This has held up to about 5 months of weekly shooting and no signs of distress or abnormal wear. The waxed canvas is padded and durable (and is the same material on the back side of the pouch). The back panel is semi-rigid, which prevents you from being able to just roll or fold it away into a small bag for storage, BUT helps keep everything in shape nicely. The zippered side pouch is lined with some kind of fleece material, so it's soft on glasses; however, the interior seems of the canvas are exposed and could be an issue for delicate lenses (I wouldn't store my prescription eyeglasses in there). The elastic loops fit 12ga shells nicely. Zippers are not super robust, but work well and have not had any problems yet.The only change I would make would be to the belt itself. Other reviewers have commented on the length being too short, but I have a 42" waist and have no issues at all over jeans and other clothing (and a little room left to spare on the belt). My issue is more the fact that the belt webbing is kind of "flimsy" and the buckle seems like cheaper plastic; although, I still think it will hold up to moderate long-term use just fine. Ultimately, I decided to remove the cheap belt and put the pouch on an extra tactical gun belt I had that is more sturdy and holds the weight better on my hips. If you're a much larger person than I am, you'll probably want to exchange the belt component anyway.All-in-all: I am very happy with it! Depending on your specific shotgun, shooting style, and sport, this may or may not be the perfect shell pouch for you, but it absolutely does everything it needs to do, and does it all well.

Very nice shell bag
I really like the layout. Fits 1 box of shells (I shoot 20 gauge) in the upper section and has a large lower section for hulls. (lots!) The waxed canvas is very nice, and the dark brown color looks good. The center square with "Birchwood Casey" can accommodate a velcro patch. (I put a U.S. flag patch on mine). The belt is very sturdy and holds the bag nicely on my hip. It also has a velcro strap for head phones and a side zippered pouch for shooting glasses etc. I can't comment yet on durability as it is brand new, but will be using it at the range a lot. Time will tell, but as is, it is very well made.

Seems to be good quality
I have not gone shooting with this yet but I thoroughly gave it a once-over when I got it. The material and belt seem heavy duty with good stitching. The zippers feel like they are good quality and the pouch fits a box of 12ga. perfectly - not too tight, not too loose. The 3 loops for extra shells are sized right and the belt fits my 36" frame. But as a couple other reviewers mentioned, if your waist size is much over 40", it might be too small. The empty shell bag is big and can easily accommodate a second box of shells for sporting clays which is the reason I bought it. Zipped pocket on the side is padded for glasses and can hold a phone or wallet if needed.

High quality and well made
Very robust construction. The bag is stiff but after 2 trap seasons, it is about right. I like the feel and the main compartment is enough for 50 (probably more) before emptying. I love it.

quality is good
The quality was nice, no problem. The bag is just really too large. It hung way to far down the side my leg before I put any shells in it.

Great for sporting clays or when you want to save your fired hulls.
Easy to walk with one box in the top compartment and an extra in the large lower compartment. Plenty of room for fired hulls. Separate compartment for eye and ear protection. The strap can be used to hold hearing muffs; I use it for a towel.

Great trap pouch!
I've been using this for about 5 months now. The waxed canvas is holding up really well. it's a little heavy on the hips at first, but I got used to it fast. Love that I can dump my spent hulls by unzipping the bottom of the bag. Works great!

Excellent Pouch
Well constructed, handsome material, thoughtful details (ear pro loop, eye pro pouch, dump zipper, etc). Dump pouch holds about 3 boxes (75) shells.Box pouch holds a box with wiggle room to avoid struggling to get it in and out.Colour was darker, more brown than tan as pictured.
