I wanted this to rest my feet on under the desk to keep me sitting properly in my office chair. Have previously used the plastic footrests, but found them so clunky that I just kick them out of the way. This was so much more comfortable. Stays in place on the carpet (haven't tried hard floors), so comfortable to the touch and also useful for supporting knees in bed or as a yoga prop. Thoroughly recommended.

I'm a fidgeter so was attracted to the idea of a footrest that lets me rock my feet back and forth, and this one does exactly that when you turn it over. Still plushy though! And so pleasant to feel under my feet that I remember to put my feet on it instead of hooking them under my chair legs, which automatically helps correct my posture.
