Dont dress like the lady in the Picture!
Just got the Booster Bath this last Friday and I put it to the test Saturday. Assembly directions were clear and we got the tub itself put together in less than 10 minutes. Putting the shower caddy in was another story. You better have a strong pair of hands for this part. Found the tub to be quite sturdy , held the weight of my 85 lb golden retriever girl with no problem. It's a little pricey for all plastic but All in all I'm happy with my purchase. It did save me from having to bend over a low bath tub not to mention the mess afterwards. Thank goodness we had a warm sunny day so the shaking the water off ritual was kept outdoors!

I wish that I would have thought of this!!
I just used this dog bath for the first time and I'm quite impressed! It is well made - my large dog fit comfortably in it and the tub was solid with her in it. It worked well - I can't believe how easy it was for me to give my 90 lb. dog a bath! I set the tub up in the basement with the drain hose draining into the garage where there is a floor drain. I love how the spray nozzle has a clip that clips on the side of the tub, VERY handy. You can set the pressure from the nozzle with an easy to move dial. My dog is great getting a bath, so I didn't use the harness that is included with the bath. It is amazing how little water was on the basement floor when I was finished. And that water came off of Jennie when she shook herself off!! Clean up was a breeze - I just sprayed the tub down and let the water drain out! I'm leaving the tub set up in the basement, just pushed over against a wall. I also drape a shower curtain over it to keep it clean. This tub really cut down and bath time and DRASTICALLY reduced my back pain from leaning over. I did one thing different than directed by the instructions. I placed the shampoo holder on the outside of the tub .... to me it was easier to get to than inside the tub. There are only 2 things that would make this tub better ... 1. a second shampoo holder 2. a longer drain hose. Did the lack of those things detract from the tub? NO!!! I love this and will be using it for years to come!I just used this item again and I love it more every time I use it. It is sturdy - it hasn't weakened from use or being dragged across the basement floor. I'm amazed at how little water ends up on the floor at the end of the bath - and the water on the floor is from my dog shaking herself off. I totally LOVE the spray attachment - it isn't with a force that would scare the animal - BUT you get enough water to easily rise the soap off of your pet. This bath is FANTASTIC!!!

Way better than nothing but ...
It proved itself very useful, especially once some experience was gained. However:1. The bath-to-drain connection will leak without substantial extra efforts to tighten it up, the recess around drain connection is too narrow, so it is hard to both screw and unscrew it.2. The drain pipe is way too rigid, I had to use weights to keep it down.3. The harness gives too much freedom to a short legged dog.

LONG-TERM DURABILITY!!
I bought this dog bathtub on April 30, 2009 and today is April 11, 2020. This tub has outlived 3 dogs and isn't showing any signs of deterioration, which is AMAZING, especially considering that for 11 years, it has been sitting outside (uncovered) nearly the entire time! It's too big to leave in the bathroom, where I use it to bathe my dog with lukewarm water from the showerhead, so when I'm finished with it, it goes out to the back porch. During the hot summer months, I use it outside with cool water from the hose. I wish I had the accessories now, which probably came with it but disappeared so long ago that I don't remember ever having them. The most important reasons to buy this bathtub are (1) quality, (2) durability, and (3) it will save your back. I would never be able to bathe my 70-lb. dog at home without an elevated tub like this - I can't bend over the bathroom tub long enough to get the job done. Now if I could just train my 3-year-old Aussie to jump up into the tub, I'd have it made!

Love the tub!
My Golden Retriever doesn't like the groomers (we've tried four and we give up), so I've been taking her in the shower with me, and this tub is making our lives so much easier. The tub allows you to wash, rinse and dry your dog all in the same place without straining your back. We have a sink in our garage that allows us to have warm water. You can get an attachment at a hardware store to attach a hose to your faucet. If you don't have a sink, there's also an attachment you can get to hook up your washing machine to a hose that will also give you access to warm water. The drain hose that comes with the tub isn't very long, but it's summer in Texas so we haven't had to worry about that issue yet. Right now, we bathe our pooch in the driveway. The nozzle that comes with the tub has an on/off valve and a clip so you can hook it on the side of the tub while the water is off. Nice little surprise feature! The tub is expensive, but it will pay for itself in time and our dog will no longer be traumatized going to a groomer. I also got the optional ramp, which is nice if you have a big dog that you don't want to lift into the tub. I highly recommend this tub.

Poor Quality Booster Bath Plastic Dog Bath
I purchased the Booster Bath Plastic Dog Bath for bathing my dog. I only used it 4 times to bath my small poodle dog. It is recommended to bath my dog every 6 to 8 weeks, which leave me only 1 to 2 baths. It was impossible for me to bath my dog 4 or more times within 30 days. Maybe there should be exceptions for some items sold. While bathing my dog one of the legs broke and down went my dog flying into the wall with a puddle of water. My dog is ok, but I attempted to get a replacement or refund from the seller to not avail. I had the tub a few days more than 90 days; the seller would not honor my request. Please be mindful when purchasing this item to us the tub as much as possible before the 90 days is up. I would not want you to have the same experience as I.Martha
