Booster Bath Tropic Shower Warm Water Bathing Kit

I am replacing a nearly 10 year old version of this Booster Bath 3042 Tropic Shower. The part is durable and works very well. My old one met an untimely ending when broke a fitting off moving the washing machine. I leave it permanently hooked up to my washing machine and is very easy to attach a hose to it when I need to wash my dog. she seems to know it so she runs and hides. If she could type she would give it maybe 5 stars for the hot water but 0 stars for it being a bathing aid. If you wash your dog outside this is the perfect way add warm water to the bath.

Was relatively easy to install. Bought this one to replace our previous Tropic Shower, which stopped allowing the hot water to come through. That one lasted less than a year and a half. Hopefully, this new one will last longer. Otherwise, we'll have to find a different solution.

A previous review said to buy Teflon pipe tape first. They were 100% correct. I had to take a trip to the hardware store because both hot and cold fixtures leaked like crazy. After applying the tape, it was fine. We'll give our dog a bath today so I'll update my review after that.UPDATE: This fitting LEAKS. Even with Teflon tape as soon as we put water to the hose to wash our dog, it started to leak again. I am returning it to Amazon will you the old fashion 3 way hose we used before every time we need to bath our dog. This is a piece of junk!

Product works great. Easy to install and water temperature is just right for my dog. The connections leaked so I replaced the washers with some I had here at home and that fixed the problem. Even though I had this problem I still would recommend this.

I use this in my garage in the winter with the Booster Bath 3040 for my three dogs, our new Australian Shepard puppy loves it. I was able to adjust the hot water temperature once and the dogs are calm and actually enjoy the warm water after a cold wet walk. No more messing up the bathroom and cleaning up afterwards. In the summer I will move the bath to the back yard and use an instant propane hot water heater to get the same results. Now when my Shepard mix rolls in the dust I let him enjoy the moment knowing when he gets home he gets right into the bath.

Overall very useful. However, note that this kit is designed to be used on your washer hookup. I used it on a utility sink with serparate hot a cold taps. For this application I had to go to the hardware store for brass nipple to cover the open ports...not a big deal though.

A little flimsy in its construction. Remember to turn off the levers otherwise the cold water gets into the hot water system throughout the house, ...causing all sorts of issues!
