Fits my tripod perfectly
I needed a new platform for my tripod. The new platform was delivered on time, at a fair price, and it fit my tripod and camera.

The hardest part related to this purchase was to determine which quick release plate I needed for the Velbon monopod I had recently obtained for very cheap due to its missing the plate (a common situation evidently!). The Velbon site was very helpful in that regard.Once I determined the correct plate needed, I ordered it here and all is fine.It fits correctly and is snug, yet easy to mount and dismount. Rescued my spare monopod which until then was useless to anyone!

Fits Great
My old one kept flipping my camera, because it didnt hold tight. Now its sits very secure and tight on my monopod. Yay. Very strong.

Not a perfect fit
Tolerances for my Velbon tripod aren't perfect. It sits fine on top but it can easily be removed without manipulating the locking mechanism.

A very necessary part of the tripod.
I have owned my tripod for a number of years and somewhere in time the Quick Release Plate had been lost, perhaps during a move. I was close to getting rid of the tripod until I found this on Amazon. I was delighted. I purchased it and have been using my tripod ever since. Thanks, Amazon!

Easy thing to have with the Velbon UP-400DX Tripod
Very easy to use platform for my favorite tripod Velbon UP-400DX . This keeps the camera steady and is easy to get the camera on and off when needed.

Just what I needed.
Delivery was the fastest I've ever received for a post office delivered product. Naturally I found the original shoe a day after ordering this one. It's in the camera bag as a spare.
