Liz at Marigold Lake (7) (The Critter Club)

I love this series because the books are very well written and the characters are not mean and nasty. This series has problem solving, independent girls who care for and "save" cuddly animals. What's not to love. These books seem to be very slanted to girls, though. The males in the books are usually bit players that are lucky if they get a single line in the whole series.

My daughter loves the focus on animals and friendship in the Critter Club series. In Liz at Marigold Lake she really enjoyed the exciting outdoor adventures that Liz and her friends experienced. It was interesting to read about the four friends in a different setting and they all learned lessons about themselves and about being good friends. We can hardly wait for the next book!

Great books

These books are amazing. My eight year old loves them. They have total of 20 books.

My daughter. who is 8 really enjoys this series. I read a chapter or 2 to her every night and we enjoy the character development and the settings. The animals help too.

It is for my daughter who loves it . She reads a lot of books she is in summer brake.

I love the critter club it is the best series ever! I like when the girl's find the mice in the pantry!
