Great gray coverage and a great price too !
I actually really lioved it.! It had a really easy applicator that you can just brush the color on your roots. However, with that being said I have a lot of hair and I have a lot of grays everywhere and the bottle only covered about half my roots. I think it definitely should say on the package that this only contains an amount of color for short to medium hair length/thickness because if I would've known that I would've bought two bottles instead of one. It covered probably an inch above my ear around but nothing past that which I have a lot of grays EVERYWHERE. So if I wanted to put it up in a ponytail the grays hairs would definitely show on the bottom of my ponytail and even some of the sides and I didn't really know this until I started running out so then I quickly did some on the bottom of my hair. I know, I should've known as soon as I saw the bottle that it wasn't going to be enough for my thickness but to only use it to cover grays I thought it would be OK but it wasn't. I needed probably another half of the amount. That's why I gave it four stars. Other than I don't have any grays showing yet where I did color and I was able to shampoo my hair RIGHT after coloring my roots AND BEST PART, I didn't have any mess to clean up around my bathroom or on my face/ears.... :)

Great quality product.
This is used between professional coloring appointments. It stays for a couple of weeks. Good quality, sticks, easy to put on.Would not use this as a replacement for my professional coloring appointments.Usage : for a guy, short hair, half a bottle. The remaining half of the bottle stays at least for a month.

Not enough!
I was using Clairol Root Touch up for a few years till I started having itchy scalp due to the same. While L'Oreal worked better for me in terms of smell and itchy scalp, my only complaint is that there was not enough color to complete coloring all my hair. Which means, at the end of my touch up session, I have half head with black hair and half a head with grays!

This is a great product! It's easy to apply and doesn't take long. (It really takes about 30 minutes because you'd have to rinse and shampoo the hair afterwards, but it's nice to have the chemical on your hair for only 10 minutes.) The color blends in my hair perfectly. It's a great inexpensive solution.

It lightens the hair and is not long lasting
I have experience in cosmetology so forgive my terminology if your not familiar with it. This product somehow lifts instead of deposits. I used #2 which is black, and the fact that it LIFTS at this shade is absurd. It somehow lightened my roots which I now have to re do with a better color. The grays were covered for about 2-3 weeks before the color faded. One bottle is only enough to do the roots on the crown of the head and sides, not the back. The bottle is meant to paint the dye on, not comb through. I believe this painting method makes you use way more than needed. Overall I would NOT recommend a product that even at number 2 LIFTS!! It seems prone to making the hair LIGHTER.
