☆☆☆My dad is 89 years old and has recently had a mild stroke. He had been totally independent until the recent stroke. So shopping for anything has become a considerable effort for him. I started helping him out in choosing a few pairs of very comfy shoes to start him out on a regimen of walking exercisesAS I experienced 1st hand (with him in charge), unboxing was an utter joy for he loved the shoes on 1st sight. ,,, The shoes came in semi luxury packaging, individually wrapped in plastic, and cradled in a semi-luxury box setting.I had previously had him try all the brands of this type and class of comfort shoes. ,,,, we returned all of them and kept these NUNN BUSH.First Impression******************We had tested all of them in terms of quality of material, appearance, comfort and ease of putting them on and off... ,,, Here, in this brand, I observed him admiring the leather. ,,,,,, LEATHER, I noticed, is not just an empty claim, or in grave doubt; it is indeed made of 100% leather upper. The stuffings are various man made material including generous foam lining and padding. The sole is generously molded natural rubber.; he said they were very comfy. I interpreted that as also shock absorbing.The end result was that he decided on keeping them. They're indeed a high quality pair of comfort shoes, good looking and extremely comfortable to put on and take off. Walking with him in the wooded streets of his suburban bedroom community, he marveled at how extremely comfortable they were to walk in even in brisk walking mode, and above all, extremely balanced for he walked straight without loosing his balance or stumbling..Judging by how well everything is put together, the quality of soft leather and the generous padding and thick sole,,, one can easily advance the claim from day one that these shoes will be principal companions to my dad's feet for years to come. He's still very healthy for an 89 with a recent stroke.☆☆☆

I bought these for my boyfriend. He had a stroke several years ago. Last couple years he had had problems with his left foot swelling so his feet are different sizes. He likes to wear Sketcher loafers but he can't get his left foot to slide in them anymore, even buying a size and a half up. And the right one didn't fit because it was too big...lol. He is stubborn and doesn't want to resign to the fact he can't wear his loafers anymore. So I ordered these, then told him I did, and he just looked at me. When they arrived a couple days later he tried them on and said they fit but they looked like "old man shoes"..lol. I told him he was an old man and I thought the shoes looked very nice on him. Next day he wore them to Thanksgiving and he received several compliments on them. Before receiving these shoes, he'd been wearing only his green Crocks or house slippers. Now all he wears are his Numn Bush loafers. He likes them. They are comfortable and easy for him to walk in. They are also easy for him to put on. Nice to find a pair of shoes he can wear and are comfortable for him.

Pros:These, not bad looking casual shoes, are true to size. They are comfortable and can be suitable for business suits, casual office attire, everyday attire. While not the best choice, the dark colors could be worn with a dress suit…..as long as it is not a formal occasion or just a very dressy occasion. They are easy on, easy off, and the hook and loop closure stay securely fastened.Cons:The shoes are lightweight and not too good for continued support. They would not be the best walking shoe.

Bought these for my grandfather, who hates buying new things, and was walking around in shoes so worn they had holes in the heel. These shoes looked EXACTLY like his previous shoes and he didn't even notice I threw the old ones away and substituted them with these dupes. Super comfy and easy to wear.

I bought these for my father-in-law, they were a try before you buy kind of thing. He has occasional edema making his feet and legs swell. He also wears a 16 EEE . I bought these extra large. He tried them on and said they were squeezing his feet too much. I told him "they're real leather and they're brand new," you have to work them in""they're not going to feel like your loafers that you've broken down and cut the leather on the sides". " You must break them in first" he disagreed and we return them. Funny how I got the next size up and they were too big. 🙄 The one star isn't because of the durability of the shoe or the way it looks that was all fine. But I can't give them a great rating because I didn't get to see them actually do their job.

Good support, easy to put on, look nice and can be polished to keep up their nice appearance.

They are very comfortable and easy to put them on.

I hate buying shoes. The problem. There is no standard uniform measurement for each size. One manufacturer’s UK Size nine is too small,another too large.I therefore opened these shoes from American with trepidation. Hallelujah!,they were a perfect fit. They were comfortable. They had excellent grip,which,matters to me with a dodgy hip. Thanks stateside manufacturer,I shall return.
