I'm always skeptical about buying collets that aren't from your top name brands, but I was in a hurry and needed them for a job quick. I am pleased to say that so far I haven't had a collet out of the set be off more than .0001". I haven't used them all, but so far I'm pretty impressed. I hope this trend extends through all of the set, and the sets they continue to sell.

First collet I tested, total TIR was 7 tho. Spindle has less than 1 thou, r8 to ER has just barely over 2 thou. Took second out of box, went to clean it, rough surface. Still tested anyways around 5 thou. Went back to first, same rough surface.Edit: exchange worked out well. New set well ground and TIR is within advertised range

This is my third set of collets from three different vendors I've purchased over the past few years. This set is, by far, the most accurate. I have a home machine shop and average collet runout is less than .001. I know I can get collets more accurate, but I'll pay more for a couple of those than this entire set cost. For me, I can live with that accuracy.

This was a great addition to my home shop.

Several of the collets arrived as the wrong size. Some were too loose to fit in the collet chuck and wouldn't clamp down, some were too tight and wouldn't pop out.
