Insight Guides Southeast Asia (Travel Guide with Free eBook)

Good info but the book is large for lugging around so I was excited to get the free eBook. The eBook wouldn't download and after an hour or so of research and tinkering I gave up and uninstalled the app. I'll tear out the chapters I need for my trip and take those.

Easy to use, appears very complete. It might use a little more research into cruise ship ports.

I’m sure the content of this book is wonderful, but the weight of it makes it impractical for travel. I was shocked at how heavy the shipping box was, and confirmed the weight of the book itself is about 2 lbs/1 kg! I can’t imagine taking up 4% of my allowed suitcase weight with this, much less carrying it around in a backpack. The quality is lovely but not right for the purpose - publishers should rethink the weight of the printing paper. Sadly returning it.

I bought this for a class I am taking through a life long learning organization. The book is well done, with good pictures.

We like the information provided in the guide. We are using the guide to plan our Southeast Asia travels.

This book is very user-friendly and has a nice layout and design. The information is presented in a great way and there is a nice amount ofphotos well placed to whet your appetite for the great sights to anticipate seeing.

This book dives into history and culture in a way that I really appreciated. If you like to understand the places you're travelling, Insight Guides is a great start.
