Q: Will a 9mm pistol fit into this one?

The internal dimensions of this pack are 8.5"x 5.5"x 1". If your gun is within these dimensions, it will fit in this pack.

Q: Will the alien gear hook and loop holster fit in this pouch? i see it comes with a holster, but would rather have something more substantial.

I agree with the previous answer. I use mine 2-5 times a week and the elastic holster that attaches with Velcro is holding up just fine. It is a snug fit and the pouch holds everything quite secure. Unless you were to modify the pouch there isn’t a way to clip anything to the inside.

small--we are currently out of large gray and won't have them in until late in the year

It fits my Taurus Poly Defender. If that helps.
