This is the second one Ive owned and as far as Im concerned the best one. When I groom my Cockpoo it definitely gets a work out every time. This little baby holds up til the motor cant take anymore which took at least 5 yrs.

Overall I love these clippers! LOVEEE that there’s no blade drive to constantly replace! Theywork great for all coat types and are strong enough for thick mats. They are a bit thick, and slippery, I have small hands so I feel like I have to hold them extra tightly. Maybe get some extra grip tape to put where you plan on holding them. Because where they have it placed, it’s not where I hold them. Also, even though there’s no blade drive, the attachment for your blades does collect a lot of hair. The star bolts they use to assemble are on so tightly it’s hard to get all the hair out. It doesn’t really effect how they work yet, but I am concerned eventually it may cause an issue. But the warranty makes these worth every penny! I went through 6 andis clippers before switching and I’ll never go back!

I’ve tried cheaper trimmers, but turned to this after no luck handling my labradoodle’s dense under-coat. This trimmer made a much quicker job of shearing my 60 lb. matted furrball. This is a good investment if you are willing to handle grooming yourself, but even with good tools, it is a rather long job. I imagine trimming a less fussy breed with this model would be a breeze!

I brought this because I thought it was powerful but it wouldnt go thru my toy poodle's fur. I only use it for at home grooming and expected less issues.
