Natori
I have owned Natori gowns and robes for about 15 years now. The quality of the fabric and designs are at the top of the scale. Always the perfect weight and fit. Washes and dries beautifully. Always a winner!

An elegant robe that is perfect in summer in my air-conditioned home
This is my second Natori Shangri La robe. The first lasted for around 10 years and is still wearable but starting to pill. I had my eye on another and bought it when the price was right. This is a lighter gray than the first one and is a few inches longer. I prefer the length of the previous one, but the extra inches are not a problem for me. I'm short at 5 foot two, so the robe comes to my ankles. My arms are short, too, but the sleeves are fine and don't get in my way. The robe gives full coverage and feels good on the skin. For me, it's not warm enough in the winter but would probably be OK with substantial pajamas or a nightgown. I like a little bit of weight on my body in the summer, so I prefer this robe to a very light weight cotton. I can't imagine a better robe for the price.

Love Natori, but this style was of lesser quality fabric, so wasn't pleased
I love Natori products and purchased this same robe a couple years ago from Nordstrom's. It was perfect. When I saw it online, thought I had to have a replacement robe, so ordered this one. The quality of the fabric was not nearly as good nor as soft as the original Natori product. I was so disappointed in the "scatchy" feel of the fabric. The fit was fine, the style was fine, but the fabric wasn't good.

Elegant, comfortable and lovely robe!
Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for and expected. I am petite (5'4" - 126 lbs.) and curvy (in the true sense of the word, 36-24-36, not the sugar-coated version for those who are actually overweight). I wanted a lightweight, long robe that gave me coverage and warmth without the bulk, and this robe provides exactly that. I ordered a medium, and it falls to just above my ankles, with the sleeves hitting exactly above my wrists. So many robes are too long in the sleeves, and these you don't even have to roll up. The material is a lightweight, silky jersey knit that drapes very nicely and feels great against your skin. Probably not the best robe for you if you have and cellulite, as the material is not particularly forgiving. However, if you have a decent figure, it's very flattering and sexy. The robe has an inside tie, two pockets at each hip and unlined. As I mentioned I was petite, the fact that a size medium robe fit me so perfectly, leads me to think it might be a smidge small on anyone who is of average height/build, so they might want to order a size up. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend buying this lovely robe. I ordered the oatmeal/tan (cashmere) color and it reminds me of a cup of tea with cream! My only gripe is that there isn't a loop at the neck so you can hang it on a hook. There are belt loops at the waist for the robes tie, but I usually just drape it over the foot of my bed so it doesn't get stretched out.

My favorite robe for years
I’ve had this robe for 8 years (purchased in 2014). It is comfortable, soft, light weight, washes well. I have mended it a few times over the years, and am considering finally buying a second one now. 100% recommend this for an everyday robe.

So soft and so light!
I rarely buy clothes online due to bad experience in the past (wrong size, bad quality). Materials and quality are always keys for me and that's why I usually like to try on my clothes to see how it fits and I like to feel the material with my hand. However, I had been searching forever for a lightweight robe to wear around the house; to keep me covered and warm but I wasn't able to find anything I liked at the department stores so I decided to give online another try, thinking I could always return if I don't like it. I decided on this rope based on positive reviews, description and guts feeling.. It's kind of pricey but I thought I would give it a try. The package came and it is everything I was hoping for. Super soft. Light weight. Good quality. Good stitching. I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs. Size small fits me perfectly. Length is at about mid calf. I put it on the minute I get home. It keeps you cool and comfortable. Not hot and not cold. Light like a feather :) Perfect for Southern California weather. It's worth every penny and with good care I'm sure I'll be using this rope for a long long time. Better yet... It's not made in China! Highly recommend this beautiful garment. Note: I bought this rope along with one by Carole Hotchman which is equally fantastic. Carole Hotchman's rope is a tad thicker but it is perfect for colder nights and after shower. Both are high quality and extra soft. My husband likes them both. You can sleep with them on. Perfect for everyday use.

Great Robe for Mild to Warm Climates
I know other reviewers have had trouble with the fit, so I'd advise anyone interested to try it on immediately, before removing tags, but it was fine for me. I have a slender build, and I'm around 5'2". It's a fair amount of fabric, and it's a below the knee robe, but that's what I wanted, and the picture clearly displays this. The interior ties aren't really necessary, but for those wanting the robe to fit like the picture, or just wanting a more secure fit, they're great. I don't normally use them, though, because the (separate) tie is adequate to the job. Note: I believe some reviewers had models that had an attached tie (at the back), but mine came with a standard separate robe tie, which you fit through the external loops like usual. The robe is a perfect weight for my climate (Southern California), which gets chilly, but not really cold, comparatively. At the coldest points in winter, you're still probably going to need to run the heat, so the robe won't substitute for a winter parka, but why would anyone expect it to? The material is thin but warm. It's great for fall and spring, and light enough to wear in summer (I leave it open for summer).I have it in gray, also, and I've washed it a few times, following the care instructions, and have had no issues with the fabric. Overall, it's a great robe for what I wanted.

I love how I can wrap this soft flowing gown around ...
I ordered an extra large, could be smaller but, I love how I can wrap this soft flowing gown around me. Washed and dried with no issues. Take it out of the dryer right away or it will wrinkle slightly.

Poor quality - see through and no shape
Looks nothing like the picture. The robe is essentially a gauze material. Very see-through, too large, and no shape. I might as well have been wearing a sheer muumuu. Very disappointed - based on the picture and price I had higher expectations. I've returned this to Amazon.

newer version, some limitations
I bought this to replace same model/size I bought 5 years ago. This new version is not as soft and is a bit shorter so my ankles are exposed and I'm only 5ft 3 in. I'd hesitate to buy this again as they probably change the styling annually to keep it fresh but it's losing some of the basic aspects that made me love it in the first place. Washes well (cold, very low heat)
