Excellent Reading
Well-developed, interesting characters that are believable. Good plot and happy ending for a change. I enjoyed this one as much as any of her novels, and I’m on a quest to read them all!😂

Too short
I have come to love and enjoy Danielle Steel novels. This was as just as as good, but she cut it short with too many questions. How for did the ex and his wife react to to Alexa marrying the senator. What did her daughter think? Small things, but then the ending would not seem so abrupt.

Disappointed
I am a reader of Danielle Steele 's books for three decades having read every one of her books. This book was the first time I was disappointed in her work and almost did not finish the book. I am a born and bred southerner and was insulted by the depiction of the ways of the South described in the storyline. It is apparent that D. Steele is not from the South as some of her characterizations are biased and misunderstood. It further amazed me that she portrayed the North and northerners in such a way that was glorified while putting down and perpetuating stereotypes of the South that were negative. I was disappointed as even though this is fictional work it was insulting to one who truly does know the true southern way and Charleston.

Mothers love for her daughter
I just finished this book by Danielle Steel. I was very enlightening and heartwarming. I received this book in very good condition and on time. I was very happy with my choice. I would order more books from Danielle Steel again. I found the book close to my heart of some of the trials and tribulations of being a single mom. Alexia did what she thought she needed to do for the safety of her daughter, even if it was against her inner being. Everything worked out for the best, it was a very nice ending.

Really good book. Couldn't put it down
Really good book. Couldn't put it down. Only thing I disagree with is no one I know in the south, me included, agrees that bless your heart is mean. We say it when say someone does something nice for someone. I'm now reading One Day at a Time and I find this book boring. Hard to finish it.

Bright Lights for Everyone
Was surprised about the ending thought the story was going to take a different turn. Sometimes things work out the way they are suppose to even if it's just in a book!

Slow burner
This book took a while to build but it did turn into a very enjoyable read. Bring on the next one, love DS books all different but all excellent in their own way.
