MadStad's patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide. WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE KIT: Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification. -Pair of MadStad Adjustable Brackets -Acrylic windshield The MadStad adjustable brackets replace the stock windshield mounts, providing you with full control to set the optimum height, angle and airflow. This lets you set the shield for your height and riding position while pulling lots of air underneath, which is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection. p> SIZE & COLOR While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height. RIDER HEIGHTSHIELD SIZE 5'5" to 5'7" 18" 5'8" to 5'11" 20" 6'0" to 6’2” 22" 6’3” - taller 24" These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position. HOW TO MEASURE: Sit on the bike while someone else holds a measuring tape up vertically from the center of the dashboard edge. While looking ahead determine where your chin level intersects the measuring tape. Add 9" or 10" to this measurement, whichever gets you to an even number. For example, if your chin level is 12" then you would order a 22" windshield. There are 2 inches of adjustment in our brackets so you can always move it up to find the cleanest pocket of air. All MadStad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.
