This eye gel / serum arrives nicely packed. The tube itself is a bit of an iffy shade of brown which doesn't appeal to me personally!It's a fairly small tube, similar in size to a travel toothpaste.There's a silvery metal roller ball at one end. You need to twist this end of the tube to turn it on and release the gel. Then just roll it onto your skin.I did a patch test first because it's so near the eyes and the delicate under eye skin.Yes it does feel cooling, but I think some of that is due to the metal roller ball - how effective the actual gel is I can't really say just yet. When I have used this for a few weeks I will come back to update this review as needed.I didn't have any reaction to the gel, and have been using it for a couple of days. My skin possibly seems a bit smoother or that could just be wishful thinking!The gel is easily absorbed and has very little scent. It hasn't worked a mini miracle yet but I am interested in persevering with it.I have deducted a star because of the price, usually £28 currently on offer at £22, which is still pretty expensive.I hope you find this review useful and I would appreciate it if you could please click the helpful button below. I gave this to my partner to review. This is what he had to say:I have tried many men's eye products to combat my tired looking eyes.- most are heavy and make my skin flake off or cause irritation. This one really works though - moisturises and freshens the areas around my eyes without causing any adverse effects and also seems to reduce wrinkles and any puffiness under the eyes. I really like the easy roll on application, which leaves a nice cooling effect. I only need to use a very small amount as I hardly need to squeeze tube as I store it upright so the roller ball always has the gel on. I really like American Crew products for my hair and now after trying this eye gel I am inclined to try more of the ACUMEN skin care range, however it does seem a little steep in price in comparison to some other men’s skin care brands hence the 4 stars, however it is a great product.

Myself and my other half have both reached an age where a lack of a good night’s sleep leaves some puffiness. I thought that my other half could trial this product but I’ve used this eye gel more than he has. I liked the roller ball application. It pumps out a small amount of serum that easily absorbs into the delicate skin around the eye. I can’t say that it ‘immediately minimises the appearance of puffiness’ as it is claimed on the product page. I also couldn’t find any storage information either on the box or tube; but this could be because the info is so small in places I can’t read it. I’ve taken to leaving this serum in the fridge and find that it does feel very soothing on application; a combination of the coolness and smoothness of the roller application. Again though, no immediate improvement when I have noticeable puffiness. Hydrates well and no reaction from my sensitive skin but doesn’t do what it claims.

Amercian Crew ACUMEN Eye Hydrating gel is a simple to use beauty product that in theory helps to minimise eye puffiness and energize the eye area.It contains various chemicals; antioxidants, moisturising agents, Hyaluronic Acid (to improve hydration), and Ginger Root extract (to help with radiance!)All in all, it's a nice product, very simple to apply (set to ON, let a little out, and roll on) and pleasant to do so using the metal ball, which immediately helps cool the area. It doesn't leave a residue or noticable trace, and does seem to have the effect of improving the area that it is applied to.Seems to work, albeit it's not magic, just a bit pricey.

What a pointless product... for men. Sure, ageing women will throw money at their under eye "bags" in an attempt to improve them. But men do not care...that much. I would never spend around 20 pounds for this.This has a fiddly ball applicator. At first nothing happened. I then realised you have to twist it to an "on" position. Even then, I ended up squirting it on my finger tips and spreading it under my eye area.So what happened after I applied it? Nothing. Yep, that's right, nothing. The area of skin looks a bit wet for a bit, but then goes back to looking exactly like it did previously.Advice: Creams like this are not going to reduce signs of ageing. Just grow old gracefully -- or eat healthy food, exercise and drink a lot of water -- if you really care that much.

I was quite surprised by this product. It had an extremely noticeable effect, within just a few minutes.I went through a very bad cold recently, and woke up with heavy lines around my eyes. Using this product, I was able to rub a little on, and, three minutes later, I had less lines round my eyes than I usually do.This is quite a nicely designed product: you turn the applicator round to the 'on' position, squeeze and roll. This dispenses the right amount, and you can either use the roller to squidge it around, or smear it with your fingers (which I tend to do).Compared to other products I've tried, I felt this worked rapidly, and with quite a powerful effect.
