I bought this hat for my husband for two reasons; First, because he is very light sensitive, and I thought that the extra material would help with peripheral light coming in around his glasses. Secondly, he always forgets to put sunblock on when he’s doing something outside like trimming the weeds and he tends to burn on the back of his neck. So I got it to shield his neck and keep him cooler. He absolutely loves it! He said it’s comfortable and he can remove the extra material if he wants, but he tends not to. It helps with the light and shade and it’s very lightweight.

I bought this cap specifically to hike the Grand Canyon and because the shade flap is removable. I only used the shade when it got sunny midday and dunked it in the river to cool off. The hat is easy to adjust and vents helped to keep me cool. The shade covered the sides of my face, and so far, has stood up to the abuse of constantly taking it off and on. The cap would be perfect if it was machine washable and easier to clean. The bill feels like cardboard and won’t withstand a cycle through the machine. It got kind of soft after dunks in the river.

I got this for our gardener. He was wearing a microfiber towel held in place by his baseball cap. He really appreciates this hat with the removable neck gaiter. He says it’s lightweight and durable. Holds up well to sweat and the elements. He says it gives him good coverage and performs really well. The size is flexible and he only needed to adjust it once.

Great for outdoor Pickleball! Plenty of sun protection but neither visor or fabric sun guard has ever prevented me from tracking the ball in flight at any angle. Very light and easy to get used to.

I like the hat fine but the drape is hot in warm weather. The drape is removable so it's not a total loss. I can use only the hat.As the weather cools off, I'll put the drape on again.

This is a nice, versatile and functional sun hat. It's not super high quality, but it definitely does what it advertises and it's comfortable. I can fold it up and it fits in a pocket, which is nice. The sun flap is easy to take off and put on.

Nice and lite. Covered the back of my neck. Folds up easily and shades eyes nicely. I like to wear it w/o the back shield also.

Hat fits very comfortably however snap on UV cloth protective sun flap is very lightweight and blows off the neck away from ears when walking with little wind. Always having to tuck in behind collar. Brim of hat is excellent!!
