Hada Labo TokyoGentle Hydrating Cleanser 150ml, White

Was looking for a gentle cleanser that didn’t strip my skin and was able to be used every day and not part of a multi step routine. Saw this reviewed by beauty industry fave jo Jones and loved it.It is gentle, easy to use, lathers up and cleanses all traces of makeup off from the day and my skin can be reactive and sensitive and it has been lovely and calm.The only thing I would say is that I didn’t realise it was fragrance free and I do like a fragrance but aside from that it is marvellous.It doesn’t leave skin dry or tight like some cleansers and skin feels lovely and clean afterwards. Highly recommended.

I have had a change in skincare recently so needed a gentle cleanser which work well with a dermatica product I am using for anti ageing.This works really well and is one of the few recommended products to use with dermatica. Alhough its nice and thick, you need only a tiny amount. It slides out of the tube easily.It is very silky on the face and lathers nicely. Yes I recommend it

I have a number of Hado Labo products. This is a nice cleanser. It applies nicely and a little goes a very long way so it is extremely economical. I have "normal" fairly well balanced skin, but I honestly find it a little drying - only very mildly so. I will still use it, I just make sure to use a HA or moisturiser soon after cleansing.

The mother of all cleaners! I use this in the morning, and as a second cleanse, following an oil cleanser to remove makeup. It's thick enough and lathers very well, a little really does go a long way. Is gentle, yet cleaning, and leaves skin clean, but not stripped. It's also unfragranced, which is a big bonus for me.This is a wonderful cleanser, and a must have in any beauty cleansing routine.

Has completely changed my skin. Made it brighter and firmer, reduced texture!!!! Could not recommend enough especially paired with the moisturiser.

It is a thick white scentless cream. A very small amount is needed to make a rich thick foamy cream lather. It removed my makeup very well. It left my skin texture smooth and soft feeling to touch, but felt dry under the surface. I developed a light rash after use.I am hugely disappointed with this face wash from Hada Labo Tokyo. I have tried various other of their products (sold direct from Japan), which I love and will repurchase, but this new EU formulated version of the face wash left my face feeling tight and dry, and the next morning I had a rash across my forehead.I have dry skin anyway, so I let a friend with combo skin try it and they had the same results, and a rash around their neck the next day. I have not tried the original version, but the ratings would imply it's better than this new EU one !?!

I struggle with cleansers - they all make my skin worse. Not a problem with this one. I'm a big fan of Asian beauty products, I gather from the blogs I've read that this is perhaps a 'boring' one, but it doesn't break me out or leave my face feeling tight and dry - so that's five stars from me!
