I purchased this to use with some of my homemade soap. Different soap bases, fats, end up smelling a little bit different when essential oils are used. I decided to start with a smaller amount of oil with a small amount of soap. After the soap set, I cut it apart and smelled it. It was very subtle yet very pleasant. I increased the amount of oil for the next batch and it was much more pleasant. It did slightly change the color palate of my soap, but because I make natural soap and use natural soap dyes, I adjusted my colorants to make the soap the color I liked.It was easy to pour, and the cap was welled secured. But it wasn't hard to open and the label is very clear and it is easy to read and I can tell which oil I have when I pick it up. The brown bottle keeps the ultra violet light out from the sun so the oil stays fresher longer. Over all I am pleased with this essential oil and the quality for soap making. Because of the saponification process, some soaps need a little more essential oils. It also arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. This is a good quality product to use and most people that use essential oils for common uses will like it too, but that is my opinion. But I feel like you can't do wrong with price and quality.

didn't know what to expect but it is surprisingly 2b 1 of my fav eo in term of smells.every time d'love of my life wearing this, it reminds me of my home sweet home,childhood sweet memories. my mom used2put bulk of (apparently sandalwood) woods in our wardrobe,she said 2make everything in it smells nice & protect our clothes fr some bugs.she even bought some ladies hand fan made of sandalwood fr timor (timor leste) back on 80's.this sun eo, sandalwood smells exactly like my mom & all those I remember grew up (even my grandma/pa even great grandma).4that deserve 5 stars, however sun eo sandalwood doesn't last long like my mom's &they are bit mild2, that's why only 4 stars. my love put on his psoriasis &he said it help him big deal. reduces itchy & taming/healing few on toes.another pro fact it is delivered safely, nicely packed,no leaking like many eo we ordered via amazon. will buy again ,,ps: if i miss home sweet home, far away land, my late ma, whole her family, all i do is put it on this sandalwood eo, or dab it on some of our pillows, this will make me keep going w/ life esp. in this crazy time (sucks corona). stay safe everyone'

••• Updated Review •••I’m updating my review to 5 stars because this company sent me a replacement bottle without me asking and the new bottle smells like heaven just like my previous 2. Good Customer Service will get you everywhere with me. This is my number 1 oil I like to diffuse in my home (My fav is to mix with lemon). I always get a ton of compliments and now I can resume recommending this oil, I’m beyond thrilled this company made it right- THANK YOU!I bought this and loved it so much that I bought another, and then another- I couldn’t relate to the bad reviews. I just received my third bottle and it smells TERRIBLE and nothing like what’s left of my previous bottle. I’m so heartbroken! And apparently I can’t return this product and I can’t figure out a way to get ahold of this company. I’m so bummed I’m out the money and out of my ex go-to oil. I would stay away if I were you... these bad reviews don’t lie.
