Good quality, wish it came with the 10 dent heddle instead of the 8 dent.
Good quality, packaged well and arrived ahead of schedule. I read all the reviews ahead of time so I was prepared for the instructions being lacking. I supplemented my assembly process with a video found on YouTube and between the two I put it together without error. I took my time to make sure I didn't make mistakes so it took about an hour for the full assembly. I'm glad I chose this brand over the competitor's because the finish is nice and smooth and I won't have to worry about it showing wear or snagging my yarn. Note....it comes with an 8 dent heddle, though the videos online say it comes with a 10 dent. I guess it's the new sales strategy on the part of Kromski. Ship it with a 10 dent and people will likely be content with that. Ship it with an 8 dent and you'll definitely get follow-up revenue generated when the buyer realizes what they really want is the 10 dent to do the more popular type of projects on this loom. The 10 dent will run you another $48. It is a bit difficult to find the 10 dent and 12 dent heddles for the 24" width loom but they are out there if you search. You won't find them on Amazon which is disappointing.

Very pleased with quality craftmanship
I love my Kromski Harp. It wasn't the easiest to assemble. As others have said, the directions it came with are terrible! However, there are plenty of videos online to assist. I'm not sure this would be functional or comfortable without a stand. With my stand, I'm very pleased with the sturdiness and how the loom works.I'm a brand new weaver so I have no other looms to base my review on. But I like the look of it and that it didn't have to be sanded or waxed. It came with a nice finish. It also comes with the 7.5 dent heddle, the hook to warp with, two shuttles and the pick up stick. I also like that there are no plastic parts. Overall, I'm extremely pleased!

If Only The Engineering Was As Good As the Materials
First, the materials are absolutely first rate, without a doubt. So why only 3 stars?1. Asking the customer to measure and cut a length pf nylon cord into equal lengths and fuse them in the flame of a candle, so they can be used to hold the rods to attach your work to, in place, is wrong because the cord could have easily been cut at the factory in an automated process.2. But, wait! There is an alternative way so that cord doesn't need to be cut up that way, and the hardware required is included. To bad, the instructions don't mention it, where you'd expect them to.3. The placement of the outermost cords is such that they easily can become disloged from the rods they hold in place.4. Because those rods can sway, side to side, and knock the piece that keeps the gear from allowing the work to move in the wrong direction, out of place. The omission from the instructions regarding the alternate method of installing the cords, is apparently the province of the distributor, who provides the instructions, in English.Despite its annoyances, it does work quite properly, however.

Kromski Harp loom makes weaving angelic.
Beautifully constructed wooden simple loom, well finished wood, smooth and clever design with built in warping board. It took a little longer to put together than indicated, and my husband had to substitute a few screws as the wrong size was included, but all is good. So far I have it together, with the stand, and have made my first warp. Warping anything heavier, or wider than 10 12" may need to be done in two windings, as the warping pegs may pop out from the pull of so much yarn on them. I learned this with my first cotton warp. It is larger overall than I thought it would be, but very well made. I am downsizing from a floor loom, and find this a nice compact alternative that will still keep me weaving. I plan to buy another Heddle to expand weaving patterns. I love that it folds up compact.

A Wonderful Loom... A Wonderful Supplier
This is an outstanding, sturdy loom. The Harp loom came well packaged by Anderson's Appliances and More. Delivery was right on time. Assembly was easy; best with two folks working together. This was a gift for my wife and she loves it... and after completing several weaving projects she is overjoyed with the results.I highly recommend the product as well as Anderson's Appliances and More!!

good quality
the quality of the wood is fine and no need to be polished as other brands of looms. It's price is reasonable when compare with other rigid heddle looms and it's accessories are useful and easy to order.

Nice Loom
This is the first loom I have ever purchased so I have nothing to compare it to. The loom is very nicely made and I've already woven some nice kitchen towels from cotton yarn. I have yet to make something a little more intricate. I'm happy with this product so far.

Love My Loom
I love my Kromski loom. The woodwork is beautiful. The set-up directions leave a lot to be desired. Make sure you put the ratchets on the right-hand side. I didn't and had to take it apart and put it together a second time. If I had watched the youtube video first I wouldn't have made that mistake.
