Nice enough, I guess, but uses special smaller bags (not grocery bags)
I'm not really in a position to say anything too terribly bad about this product, as it is exactly what its description suggests it is.I do have a complaint, though: this rack uses a custom size of handled bag that is much smaller than the ubiquitous handled grocery bag.Had I read the description with a little care, I would have known that before I bought one of these things. I actually find the idea of having custom bags for this application preposterous; it never occurred to me that someone would offer such a thing, so I didn't check. So: my recommendations:- If you wan't something that uses small, custom bags, this is that thing.- If you want to use grocery bags for trash under the sink, this thing won't do.A picture of this rack next to a different rack that actually handles normal sized bags has been uploaded; see above.

I'd give this five stars except that:
I'd give this five stars except that:1) The third sentence of the Product Description says "1-pack size of 25." That is redundant with the last sentence, which describes the refill pack. In context, it's untrue--the Rack itself comes with FIVE bags.(Thumbs down, Amazon, for making people jump through hoops to report things like this to you. Your Help section requires tediously full documentation on the problem being reported--information that would implicitly be provided if the report could be dispatched from the product-page in question.)2) There is no online video of the installation. This product needs one--it would be very helpful--and it would boost sales.3) The instructions consist of two booklet-sized pages. They contain ten photos. The photos need to be twice as high and twice as wide. The text is in a tiny typeface. Therefore, the number of pages in the instructions should be doubled--at a minimum.4) The word "Bathroom" should be more prominent in the product's name, by moving it earlier than the next-to-last word. Several low-star reviewers complained when the product arrived that they weren't aware it was meant for the bathroom (small). (Incidentally, don't be afraid to use it in the kitchen, as I have done, if you don't have a lot of volume to cope with.)5) There should be a paper mounting template to make it easy to mark the screw holes before drilling. Many products include such a template. The Rack's backing plate is attached to a heavy, awkward mechanism the is hard to hold in place--especially against a slippery metal surface such as I have.If those improvements had been in the original item, most of the low-star reviews would be missing and the item's sales would be higher. This tip should also be added to the instructions:"The farther the Rack is from the hinge-side of the door, the less you will need to open the door to obtain enough clearance to open the lid. When trying to decide how far toward the other side the Rack can be positioned, be sure the front corner of the Rack will clear the edge of the cabinet when you close it. To do that, place a piece of tape inside the door to mark where on the door it rests against the side of the cabinet when closed. Position the leftmost screw holes [***: value to be filled in by the maker] inches to the right of the tape."This isn't a calculation the homeowner can make (unless he wants to get out his old High School math books), because the Rack juts forward.

Made for their own bags!
This would be a 5 star product if it was designed to fit standard plastic grocery bags. However, the company made a poor decision when they made the product to fit specific bags made by them. I (and others likely) will not be buying heir bags. I have enough plastic bags with the grocery bags I am overflowing with. Those bags will kind-of fit, but not perfectly.

Annoying
I returned this item because there were no instructions and the pieces wouldn't stay together. It was also not the size I ordered, though it (the one I THOUGHT I was ordering) was advertised as a "kitchen" system. The best I could tell, it wouldn't have fit on the door of the cabinet under my sink anyway - the lid looked cumbersome and too big - too much trouble to have to open if you have a handful of trash while cooking, etc.

This bathroom size works well in kitchen, even with grocery bags
The media could not be loaded. I was a little hesitant to purchase as some reviews were unhappy with small opening of this bathroom sized version of the rack sack and problems with it closing up once an article is put in the grocery bag. I could not use the kitchen size version as my kitchen cabinet width is too narrow.Well I am here to say that it works very nicely (for my purposes). The sturdy "held open" dimensions of the grocery bag once placed over the upper rim are 8 inches by 4.25 inches. The comment(s) that bag collapses shut, once something is put in it, means that the grocery bag has simply been hung on the hooks and not had the upper rim of the bag flipped around the top hoop. Even the back of the bag must be flipped over the 2 back corners of that hoop. I have put several heavy items in to test it now and it holds up great with a solid framed opening. Now of course, no, it will not hold a very large cereal box, that sort of thing, but usually that goes in a recycling bin or something anyway. It receives most things that people put in a grocery bag for kitchen garbage.PLUS, it has a lid that occludes the top of the bag "fairly" well!In the included video/serial photos I lashed the frame to the back of a chair for better lighting before installing to show what I am talking about. Plan to use 3M heavy duty adhesive strips rather than the included screws. Support feet are not attached in photo either though they are included. There is no drainage pan with the bathroom version.

not big enough for grocery store bags
I bought this for recycling the use of my grocery store bags... it is too small. These weren't cheap either. I should have read the other reviews. So if you are getting this to use for walmart/food store plastic bags- don't. Those bags will be WAY too big, and won't work as expected.

Evaluation of "Rack Sack" purchased at Amazon.com
The RackSack item purchased does the job we needed it to do, but it replaces one of the same name that we had for years that was twice as large. I recall no dimensions listed on Amazon, and there were no other models to purchase. So now we have to empty the contents to the outdoor trash barrel twice as often -- a distinct inconvenience.
