Quality ingredients and made in the USA, 2 years with a healthy report card and beautiful coat.
****Update 4/24/2021, everything is still going great with this food. His coat is shiny and healthy, still no medical or digestive issues at all. He continues to look forward to his feedings. To those wondering, the picture attached with the food in the bowl, that is the "Large Breed" size kibble. Just notice the total recommended quantity on the bag for each variety of this (adult, large breed, adult small kibble). The daily recommended amount is different for the weight classes. ******(2019 1st review) My AmStaff really enjoys this food. I feed him the Grain-free, limited ingredient lamb and sweet potato. The price seems a bit high, but he's my dog, and the product is made in the USA, his vet gives him a complete healthy report card, his stool is consistent and firm. He's 63lbs and i feed him 1 1/2 cups around 8am and 1 1/2 cups at 6pm. So all things considered, I don't mind paying $58 for 22lbs since he enjoys it, it's been keeping him healthy and a bag lasts roughly about 3.5-4 weeks. PS, my 5 star review on flavor is not my opinion, lol... he seems to really enjoy it!Update: Its mid-Dec, 2019 and still going great. Since its winter and the air is drier outside as well as in the house with the heat on, I add approx 1 teaspoons of EVOO or coconut oil to his morning feeding only to avoid any issues with dry skin or his coat. He loves it (as you see him waiting impatiently for it in the picture), and it's had no adverse effects on his digestive system at all, it even seems to improve it.

The big thing: TRULY chicken free
We had our dogs on Nutro’s regular lamb & rice and our one adopted pit mix had skin so dry that a single scratch sent dandruff flying like a blizzard. Within a few weeks of transitioning them over to this food, his skin is clear and his coat is softer and shinier. (I figure this is due to his natural oils having a chance to properly distribute through his fur now that the skin is healthier.)It also seem like he has less gastrointestinal upset, less frequent farts (which were NOXIOUS), he hasn’t thrown up recently (a fairly frequent occurrence) and isn’t eating as much grass/plants in the yard. Both dogs have firmer poop as well; the aforementioned dog frequently had “soft serve” consistency. 😬Nutro’s regular Lamb and Brown Rice has “chicken meal” as the second ingredient. I think this is the allergy my dog has, rather than anything grain-related..I really wish Nutro’s non-chicken foods were TRULY chicken-free since this seemingly is a common allergy for dogs and honestly it kinda stinks to pay the high cost for “grain-free” when it’s not the issue.Regardless, I’m really glad that he’s both looking & feeling better! We’ll be continuing with this food (EDIT: happy to say we can now get this from Amazon at the normal price, regularly! Which is great, since Chewy has sent us the wrong food several times.)

Excellent quality food!
I two Belgian Malinois. One has an allergy to chicken. This food checks all boxes for both dogs. When we got our male, he was thin, his coat was lacking that beautiful shine, and his fur felt awful, corse and rough. Since we've switched him from Merrick Salmon dog food, ( he was fed this prior by the previous owner ) to this, he has gained healthy weight, he coat is super shiny, and feels like a teddy bear. My female, also has a beautiful shiny coat and does well on this food and brand as well, and she's been on Nutro since we got her at 12 weeks.I have always, always fed all my dogs this brand of food, and it's amazing the variety of flavors, and different dietary requirements. Especially having a dog with a chicken allergy-because it's in just about almost everything from dog food to treats.Highly recommend!

Must be truly limited ingredients!!
I gave this product 5 stars for flavor only because this is the only food my dog is NOT allergic to!! I have no idea on how it tastes! (Haha)My dog is allergic to chicken and red dye.The thing about chicken, almost every label is able to tell you if chicken is present. What no one tells you about red dye, is if its less then 2% (or maybe its 4%, I can never remember) companies dont have to put it on the food label. Rachel Ray-which is the brand we tried before this is how we found this out! Our poor pooch was suffering even more because red dye was not listed on the label!!I can honestly say Nutro limited ingredient does NOT have red dye or chicken in it!! As our pup is back to feeling better! No ear aches or itchy paws!!Its slightly expensive. But so are the vet bills from buying cheaper food with a less than honest label. I love the convenience of having it delivered as I always forget to buy it when my husband is in the car with me!!!Update. Our dog had a heart attack and died, 03-26-21, he was a healthy 11 y.o. bulldog, 11 y.o. is old for a bulldog yes, but he was vet check healthy.during the grieving process, I found medical research from the FDA that grain free food causes canine cardiomyopathy!!!Please be aware of this!! The research is fairly new! (2018 started the research of it) and because some breeds, aka bulldogs, have health problems to begin with, the canine cardiomyopathy is not diagnosed from the grain free food!!!

I will not purchase again for the fact that I have to go pick it up, i could grab on a regular shop.
I dislike the fact that I had to go to post office to get product. This is an item I could of bought on a regular grocery shop. I spent 20 mins in a line up at post office that was totally unnessesary.

Bad allergy dog can eat this
My dog has severe allergies and is on medication daily, for the rest of his life. This food has allowed us to half his medication dose, as he reacts the least amount to it. Bravo!Update: we have been with this good for over 6 months now, our dog loves it and his coat is beautiful. His allergy medication dose has gone done to 1/4 of what it was! Awesome size bag for the price
