Run for Cover: The Art of Derek Riggs Paperback – January 1, 2006

This book is beautiful. I bought a copy years ago when I started an iron maiden tattoo sleeve. We used this book as a reference...i read it and gifted it to my tattoo artist who liked it so much. Now years later I was gifted this book while recovering from a cancer diagnosis and surgery. I am so happy to own this book again. I never regretted giving it as a gift, but I am happy to own it. It really is gorgeous and its nice to see the artwork through the years and how Eddie came to exist. A great gift for any Iron Maiden fan.

I just recieved this book in the mail today,after wanting it for a while. I sat and opened it and was just in awe. I have loved the artwork since i was younger and it made me miss my maiden posters that used to cover my walls. If your a fan of the album covers this book is for you. I recommend this book,highly recommend this book for art lovers and maiden fans alike. This book is awseome as hell and im glad this book has been made.

My Husband was very excited when he opened this book.

This was a gift for a huge Maiden fan (aren't we all--at least all of us who would consider buying this). Derek Riggs is synonymous with Maiden and this book is a must for any metalhead's coffee table. Loved reading about the subtleties of the artwork!

Awesome art work

You don't have to be an Iron Maiden fan to appreciate this book....but it helps...if you grew up in the 80's you were fascinated by Eddies image in all the posters and record covers....he was in WW1&2 westerns the Future Egypt and apocalyptic punk scenarios that would churn your imagination for hours at a time...Derek Riggs was the first artist to truly grab my attention outside of comic books or people like Frazetta...

Great art work, book in great condition hardly any sign of wear and bought for a fair price.
