The build quality is good, but the ergonomics imo are poor.I have big hands but the space intended for the hand is so huge I found it would often end up in the furthest point meaning I couldn't reach the button without adjusting it's position.I also found the button extremely difficult to lock in place. On numerous occasions I would lock the lead only for the button to release by itself with minimal change in tension of the lead. By the end of a short walk I found my thumb was aching. Using both hands I could effectively lock the button securely, and on occasion with one but took a lot of effort.

A lot bigger than expected bùt will be great when I take my pup for his first walk in the park.

I have a cockapoo puppy weighing in at an almighty 5kg/11lb's. After a weeks use this lead snapped from the inside when walking him!! Not quite what I expected from a lead claiming to handle dogs 20x times that weight!!The company refunded me immediately and their service was great but frankly I could have been walking my dog on a road (not a field like I was luckily in at the time) and this story could have been very different!!

Had this for a month and the lock mechanism is broken. Might be suitable for medium size dogs but not a large 37k Golden Retriever.

i have 2 very strong labs and this lead works a treat.

I bought two and the first one broke after just an innocuous, gentle tug from one of the dogs on the lead. I now wont trust a helium balloon on the end of the other lead, let alone one of our precious family pets. Both sent back.

Had it for one week the catch broke and then the lead control break also broke, extremely poor quality.
