Husky 81145 Ball Mount Bike Rack

First, item description could be more specific that the mount bolts on in place of the ball on a hitch. I purchased assuming it slid into the receiver, overall not a big issue but would have been nice to have "ball mount" concept described a little better.I have the 2-bike rack and the bikes fit well but another inch of space could make it a little easier. Otherwise the rack is fairly sturdy but there is a bit of side-to-side movement and I have verified that to be the mount at the point of bolting to the hitch and not at the point of the hitch in the receiver tube.

It is sturdy and far enough out from my Ford Explorer that I can open the top window. When I need to open the entire hatch I just undo the pin and drop the bike down. Easy breezy.

Very solid unit but still light. Rigged up a mount for use on a motorcycle and seems stable enough to work. Not a lot of wobble.

Well made. Great Value. Recommend this Bike Rack any day.
