My wife has been at me to get her a new hair straightener as her $100 8 year old straightener wasn't working as good as it used to. With Mother's day coming up I wanted to surprise her with an early gift, but I just couldn't justify spending $100 on a new straigtneer.I spotted this one as it was sponsored and at $35, at the time of this writing there is even a $5 coupon making this even a sweeter deal!As a guy, the reason I like this straightener WAY better than my wifes old one is the power cord. The old straightener's cord (compared to this one) just feels cheap and it ALWAYS got tangled and I would have to untwirl it in order to put it away. Not so much with this one, the cord feels like its going to hold up and I have yet to find myself needing to untwirl the cord.Secondly, it heats up fast, looks sharp and overall just feels like it is going to last for a while.This morning I found myself at Ultra Beauty and was looking at hair straigtheners and I held about 5 different ones in my hand (costing aroudn $100) and to be honest, they all felt the same. I'll certainly update this review if something changes but I would totally recommend this straigtener and this would make a perfect mothers day gift or whenever gift!

I love that it does not take long to warm up and cools off fairly quick (you cant expect it to get cold instantly because like a stove it takes time to cool off). Could be a little wider but does an amazing job straightning your hair. Very easy to use and understand

I had to replace my old straightener as I forgot to pack it after a vacation. I was in a pinch and read the reviews. I have pretty thick dark brown hair. I usually use it at 420 to get a the desired effect. I love that it has an auto off, as my last one did not and a few times it was left on all day. Also, it is so smooth. It never snags my hair unless I have a knot in it. It heats up extremely quick 30 seconds or so and it is faster at straightening my hair than my last one. Absolutely, no complaints or revisions. Great tool. I love it.

The iron works great, easy to use and heated up fast. Overall its a great iron for the price and I am happy with it. The quality looks good and sturdy, i expect it to last a long time. It is also very slim so easy to pack.

I had high hopes for this flat-iron. My hair is very thin and fine, so it suggested I use the lower heat settings, which is understandable. However, if you have hair that is thin, fine, AND extra frizzy with curls, then expect to stand in the bathroom forever to get your hair straight. It takes about 6-8 passes before my hair will straighten, and even then it's not 100% straight at the lower heat settings. But due to damaged hair, I'm leery of trying a hotter setting. For those with healthy hair, this product should work fine as long as you don't mind turning up the heat.

Had this straightener for about 1 year when it started to overheat and automatically shut itself off with an E1 on the screen. I wouldn't recommend buying this straightener. Waste of money when you have to buy another one right outside the return policy.

First of all, at the beginning i was skeptical, till i tried it. It's so light weighted, anyone can handle it. You can take it traveling with you, cause it's not huge! Fast heating and heat recovering. It's metal ceramic, don't snag into my hair!!! The 360° swivel cord is simply great to work with. Don't spend tons of money in others, when you have the convenience of this one that is simply great!

Pros: It's lightweight, warms or cools to desired temp really quicklu, and has a nice long and thick cord.Cons: Pulls the hair, so I returned.
