Perfect convertible multi-purpose duffle
Needed a convertible bag which could be carried by hand, shoulder strap, or as a backpack for a 50 day expedition from Beijing to St. Petersburg with extended backcountry tours through Mongolia and around Lake Baikul. After considerable research I chose this one. Its just arrived and after examining it from end to end although it's not expedition size, I'm going to pack light and it will be perfect. Rugged construction with solid stitching and straps. Clips and zippers are plastic but look beefy enough. Compression straps will be really useful. Ends have handles for loading and unloading into tighter spaces. Dividers inside can be individually tucked away so you can have one, two or three compartments. Top pouch for easy access to a tablet, sunglasses, small binoculars, or passport. Would be a bit cramped but doable for a full sized camera and maybe an extra lens. Side pouches are also not particularly roomy but have mesh pockets for organizing stuff. No end pockets and no bumper buttons to protect the fabric bottom but I'm going to give it 5 stars anyway. Will post again after my trip.OK. Here's my update. As I mentioned in my previous posting this is not an expedition sized bag. If you are off for an extended period or if you will be in more than one climatic zone like I was you may want to look at something larger. Especially if you will be carrying colder weather gear. That being said the bag survived the trip no problem and did what was expected. I used it as a duffle with the shoulder strap or top handle only, never as a backpack. For a shorter expedition I'd gladly take it again. It has several nice features; the compartments allow you to separate things according to function, The outside pockets although not large were useful for passports, smaller stuff and my tablet. One thing that I discovered and found very useful, is that if you put the top zipper at one end outside of the compression straps when you close the bag, you can access one end of the inside, very useful when you need to grab a snack, camera or ??? and you don't want to undo the straps and zipper. I'd recommend this for trips in hot climates up to 2 weeks duration, or moderate climates if packed carefully. If you have a limited wardrobe, only a few gadgets and access to a laundry up to a month or even more. The attached picture shows the bag on the left fully loaded in a Mongolian yurt, as you can see there other stuff that I couldn't squeeze inside. PS. The rock is there to keep the roof on. It gets windy in the Gobi desert.

This is a perfect travel duffel for me
This is a perfect travel duffel for me. I got tired of the usual hard sided wheeled travel bags and picked up one of these instead. It fits in airline overhead storage with ease, especially because it's not a hard sided suitcase. It opens wide with ease and the two zippered separator panels allow you to organize your load in 3 compartments or store larger items in one large space. The build quality is great. Stitching is solid, the material feels think and solid, and the zippers are smooth and durable. The standard carry handle and shoulder strap works fine, but the tuck-away backpack straps are a dream. When not in use they stow away in their own compartment. I also love the extra pockets on the outside of the bag for smaller items like electronics and toiletries. Great bag, lots of quality for a small price. I look forward to traveling with it for years to come. The only thing I wish this bag had is zippers you can lock with a TSA lock so I can check the bag if needed.

What a great freaking bag
I'm gonna start by saying I gotta give a shout out to my coworker and Cigar international for even bringing this bag into my life. My coworker got it as a door gift when he went to a Cigar event and has been using it for a gear grab bag for our industrial rescue job for about a year now and has no problems with it. I plan to do the sameWhen I got the bag in hand it is a lot bigger than the pictures give it credit for. The quality at first feel is comparable to Maxpedition and 5.11(in the emergency service I touch this stuff all to often) and the molle is evenly spaced. Sometimes you don't see that with the lesser known bags and gear. The attention to detail is great on this bag. Zippers are of great quality and as well as the webbing.Compartment space is top notch. One main compartment reported to be 48 litter capacity(if your like me then measurements of space with liquid measurements makes no sense) that will fit all your needs. Pictured I have helmet, 4X FR industrial jumpsuit, 2X Hoodie, and some webbing. In the side I through my hand and ear protection too houses my eye ware. The main compartment has the ability to be one large, one medium and a small, or 3 small with zipper dividers(a concept in new to but like.)Comes as a standard duffle bag with reinforced handle and shoulder strap that is removable and storable. 3rd Carry options is two shoulder straps that make the whole bag a backpack. They come with the sternum strap which caught me off guard so added plus in my bookThis is definitely a sleeper find and I highly recommend itPros* Tons of carry options* Built durably at first glance and first handling* Smaller than your normal carry on bag but large at the same time if that makes sense* LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!Cons* If used in the configuration with the carry a handle the bottom is exposed to what ever is on the ground.* The interior divider zippers is under stress from the side walls, could be problematic down the road with use* Single straps and backpack shoulder straps are thinner(totally understanding your not going on a 72 hour ruck with thing)* Could use a little more molle(more molle never hurt nobody)I will drop an update. Like I said this will be my grab bag for every day use of PPE carry in industrial plants and emergency services. So it will be put through its paces.
