Duke's Descent How to Host a Murder

We started hosting murder mystery dinners after a friend invited us to several. These are perfect for a fun, entertaining evening!

The description said New. The images showed the new version of the game. What I recieved was a damaged old version. I'm not happy that I was deceived into believing I would be receiving a new undamaged version.

I ended up with a copy from the 80's, which works just fine, except instead of a CD it came with a cassette, and I had to hunt down an old boombox with a tape player to use it. And to clarify, the cassette/cd IS necessary for playing the game. It was very fun.

The hardware (invitations and instructions) have worn out over time. Played it a handful of times while being a butler and maid after the second time. Ordering a new one.

We followed directions to the letter which is important, and had a fun group of people who dressed up and really got into character. The problem for us was that in the end, we were no closer to discovering who did it than at the beginning. We learned a lot about each character, but the clues did not get you any closer to who killed the Duke. It was fun, everyone had a good time, but the game needs work.
