The Toxic Avenger: Part III

The third and probably the weakest one in the series, there’s some fun bits, but it’s cut and censored a lot which is why it’s gets a low score.

The opening sequence in the rental store is heavily edited compared to the unrated DVD.

Yet again another great re-mastered classic from 88films, toxic avenger 3 is probably my least favourite of the saga but its still great cheesy over the top fun, despite a few scenes of gore being still cut the movie it has its usual blood and violence and whacky comical moments and crazy performances especially from Phoebe Legere who plays Claire, the story this time centres yet again around the apocalypse inc tricking toxie into taking a job for them unaware that he has made a deal with the devil himself, its the weakest of the 4 movies but if your a fan then its a must in the collection of course especially as this new Blu-ray has so many great special features worth watching alone,Blu-ray has a great HD picture quality.Tons of great special features to keep you busy for hours.Region free ABC, 109-mins, 1989.The Blu-ray is in a cool slim slime green case, unfortunately it doesn't match up with the previous 2 films and there was no HMV exclusive version either with the slipcase and poster, bit disappointing.

Well,looks like 88 films are making a habit of putting out cut releases. Stay away from this one too. The hollywood uk dvd is better than this botched garbage blu release. The hollywood uk dvd is fully uncut. Not exactly the best sequel of the toxic avenger movies,anyway. But i'd rather have the fully uncut bare bones dvd version than a botched hd blu release.

This uk blu-ray is not uncut which is disappointing hopefully 88 films have not made this same mistake with the 4th.

Cut. Really disappointing given the other movies in the 88 film toxie series are the real deal. Picture quality is excellent and the bonus content isn't too bad but cut is cut.

This is A pretty Disappointing Entry in the Series (though there are some who would say they were all Disappointing).Where as it has the odd good Action scene, for the most part it is slow moving and most of the action aint action packed enough.Cheaply Made Yes,but this goes beyond even Tromas Micro Budget Epics.

BEWARE! The Toxic Avenger 3 is only available in the R-Rated version on the blu-ray released by 88 Films. The unrated version is not available in HD to this day (June 2018). It is available on the DVD included in the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo released by Troma in the U.S., but not on any blu-ray...

Toxic Avenger is great

It was excellent! What else could one expect from Troma!!! Mr. Kaufman and Mr. Herz's work is like that thought provoking painting that everyone should have in their homes.
