Absolutely not, Miranda!! They are feather weight. Can't stress that enough. I can't deal with heavy earrings either and these are perfect!!

Q: What is the material--are these nickel-free?

The hooks contain nickel! I actually took the hook off of these earrings and replaced it with a silver one.
