Just what I needed, excellent product

Simple to cut and install, I used a carpenter's square and utility knife. I installed this on a south facing steel garage door, seems to knock down the heat pretty good. No idea how it does with cold, installed late June, we'll find out soon enough, I live in southern Wisconsin so it's only a matter of time before we hit the below zero Wisconsin winters. Installation tip: Before cutting the first piece make sure the end is square, my roll wasn't, good thing I noticed before I started cutting the first piece.

I used this to line my soft sided cooler. Wow! With two ice blocks and somewhat cooler weather (70s) this lining kept the ice blocks frozen and food cold for 2 days (vs. about 6 hrs w/o lining). Simply amazing. I bought the 1/4 inch thick version of this stuff for my hardsided cooler, and that kept the cooler/ice blocks cold for 4 days during a 6 day tent camping trip with weather in the 80s. Amazing.

Easy to work with and appears to do the job intended.

I have purchased this product 3x, and have been happy with its quality. It cuts cleanly, is stiff for lining spaces, and is both insulative and acts as good a mold resistant moisture barrier. However, at last order, the quality does seem to be declining. Mfgr, please review your product for damage before shipping.

Somehow i got rats behind the dishwasher, after i found and patched the hole where they were getting in, i saw they peed on the old insulation for the dishwasher. This stuff worked great. I removed the old, cut 4 individual panels and used some high heat hvac tape to hold it on. It is rather thin stuff, but not too thin. The dishwasher had room to push it under the cabinets again. I would recommend. The oem samsung blanket seems to be on infinite backorder, so anyone needing a replacement should consider this product

It does cut easy and I’m sure it does have some insulation properties, BUT it definitely does not have any foil on it. Light does penetrate through it. Light does NOT penetrate through metal, not even very thin foil!!!As you can see in the picture, light shows through it so if you’re wanting something that will totally block out any light, keep searching.

I installed this on the inside of my garage door so that I can add air conditioning this summer.Two rolls was the perfect amount if you get creative with the last two squares on the door.super easy to install, just cut and paste. I used a high quality two-sided carpet tape, and it holds well through the damp evenings, as well as the heat of the day. Would have attached a photo If I'd have had the option on this review.
