Space Ice Cream 5 Count (Neapolitan)

The product did not come in block form but pock-marked, worn, small heart shapes. About 1/3 of each package were crumbs. Whatever small pieces that remained were fragile to the touch. The vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate flavors tasted old and the texture granular. Extremely disappointing.

I ordered the variety 5 pack and they tasted great and were easy to share: each package had a large handful of freeze dried ice cream pieces, so you could easily share them without having to try to cut up a solid chunk (that leaves you with a bunch of crumbs). My nieces and nephews enjoyed trying all of the flavors. It's not inexpensive, but it was for a special occasion with a space theme, so this fit right in. I'm pleased with this purchase.

The packages came in much smaller than I was expecting. Decided to try it anyway, because the last astronaut ice cream I got (different company) swapped my order and sent me sandwiches instead and I dislike the cookie part.Opened the pouch and they are ADORABLE. Positive marks for that. Cute little hearts, and seperated by flavour which was wonderful!But the taste was..... fair at best. And inconsistent , even within a single flavour. I wound up giving away all the chocolate ones from the pouch because they didn't taste sweet to me at all. The strawberry ranged from eh to "wow!" and the vanilla was... very very bland.Over all, cute, but not tasty and not worth the money for the size, even if I had enjoyed.

I got these to put in the kids stockings - I only needed 4 so we tried the 5th. Vile, damp, strange texture- fluffy. we’ve had it many many times. There is no option to return. These will not be going in stockings. GrossI’d give 0 stars if I could get it to save without it

They clearly say it's different than the mass-produced Astronaut Ice Cream, so I think the low reviews are unfair. Come into it knowing that it'll be different, and give it a chance! I like that it's made from scratch with local ingredients, and I think the texture and flavor are good. I think it tastes more like real ice cream.

My box came with two mint chocolate chip and no vanilla, which is a shame since vanilla is my son’s favorite flavor.So! I love the size of the bites and the packaging is cushioned enough most were intact.The texture is not what you expect from freeze dried ice cream, but not unpleasant. It’s more sort of powdery. It dissolves more evenly than other brands.Finally, the flavor: the mint and strawberry were good, the vanilla (that I only got to try in the neopolitan mix) was kinda bland and the chocolate… was weird. Good, but weird. It has this flavor I can’t really place but reminds me of these slim fast brownie snacks they used to make. Anyway, overall I don’t regret the purchase, but probably won’t get them again. I think if the price was right and they worked on their flavors, I’d reconsider.

We used these for a homeschooling extention to a space unit. These are also fun for a small kids party.

These are tiny packages and each has just a handful of tiny pieces of “ice cream” that crumbles to dust as soon as you touch it. Not even remotely similar to the brick of Neapolitan astronaut ice cream I remember from childhood. They taste weird, the consistency is completely off, and the packets are tiny and barely filled.

I didn't like the amount and taste. Did not melt like the other ones I've had. Not worth it.

This is NOT freeze dried ice cream!It’s more like dried milk powder shaped into small sized hearts. And half of those hearts are broken back into the powder mixture!What a waste of money!Freeze dried ice cream is supposed to be crunchy and melts in your mouth, not soft and powdery!
