Fountain Pen of a plastic, Pentel Tradio Pulaman Black Body Black Ink & Pen Refill Cartridge Value Set

One of my favorite new pens. These pens write so well that I bought several more and gave as gifts. They are very well balanced and write very smooth without skipping! Will be purchasing a few more for gifts and for myself. Love these pens!

I love these pens for use with my art. The only reason I give this 4 stars is that they always tend to clog and leak after a short period of time. They never last long enough to use all of the ink. Thankfully they're cheap so this doesn't pose a huge problem. They're very comfortable to draw with. I don't think they're the greatest for fast write speed. The odd tip works against you here.

I’ve lost one too many beautiful fountain pens. This pen is a great value and offers fine and finer point nibs. I love writing with it. When I lose it, I will be disappointed but not sick about my carelessness.

My personal opinion is that this is a one-star product, but I decided to go for three because it did work well and is probably great for some. I got this at Michaels and was very excited to finally have a refillable technical pen (much harder to get than I expected). Little did I know, it requires the replacement of the entire inner assembly, including the reservoir and tip. Not only is that insanely wasteful, but means that maintenance of the pen is rather expensive. I tried piercing the reservoir to use my own ink, but I can't get anything to flow like the original. The pen doesn't perform any better than other felt-tips, so using this makes no sense to me.

This wasn't what I was expecting, but it's still a pretty nice pen. It's an odd combination of a fountain pen and a felt tip, which doesn't sound like it should work, but does. It has a fountain pen like nib made of a porous plastic, it doesn't quite "feel" like a fountain pen when writing, but it also definitely doesn't feel like a ball point. It's sort of a scratchy feeling, it's hard to explain. I'm not going to be using it as my primary pen, but it does write well and the ink flow is quite nice and consistent.

I had already picked up a couple of these pens at a local store, and after using them for a couple of days, I knew I wanted more -- love the way they perform!!! I wanted to make sure I had a couple of "spares" just in case I needed one, and it made sense to me to get one that came with a refill -- can't wait to try some of the other colors, as so far I have only used the black ink as my daily pen.

Not sure what the big deal is about these pens. Read rave reviews . . . yawn.

I am a pen freak. I buy pens in search of the one that feels just right in my hand and it has to write smoothly. I have finally found the pen that meets all of my qualifications!
