Practical, well-organized, insightful
I was really pleasantly surprised by this book!Organization--I initially thought that the "elements" idea was a gimmick, but I was completely wrong. It works really well as an organizing framework for the book.Practical--The tips in this book are practical, specific, and actionable for an educator or school leader.Research--One of the things I liked best about this book was that the tips were not simply based on the authors' personal teaching experience, but on teaching experience + empirical research, which they cited for the reader's future reading.Surprising!--Honestly books like these can be dime a dozen, but this one had some really surprising and useful information! For example, include sleep strategies for different ages was brilliant!
