These are the perfect replacement earrings for my small cartilage hoops. I got the silver 8mm and 10 mm pack. It comes with 4 pair: 2 pair 8 mm and 2 pair 10 mm. They are tight to close like other reviewers have said, but that's why I wanted them. Once I put these on, I don't take them out. I didn't have trouble putting them in, but I've been using these type of earrings for 26 years. They are comfortable to wear 24/7, since the hinge is flush with the hoop when they're closed. They're comfy to sleep on and everything. Bright, shiny, genuine sterling 925 silver as advertised. Great value and product. I would definitely buy these again. The measurements are accurate and are measured from the inner diameter of the hoop.

These are exactly what I wanted! They are tiny hoops. They are difficult to open first time as locating the clasp is difficult in a closed position. Appear as a continuous circle. That’s what makes them perfect! I purchased gold for myself and silver for my granddaughter. Simple but elegant wearing. No worries about catching on anything. These hoops feel as if you’re not wearing anything.

Love the style of these but they are hard to maneuver through earring holes in ear and to clasp shut. I have lost a few of them because I couldn’t get them to fully close shut securely enough.

At first I didnt understand what people meant in the reviews when they said they "couldn't get these on". Getting them into my earring holes was easy enough, since they are narrow. The difficulty was in sticking the "post" (the piece that goes into your earring hole) into the back hole on the earring body to secure it shut. The way these earrings are made, either the "post" has to be squeezed tighter, or the earring body has to be pulled open wider, to get the post and hole to align so they can snap shut. On larger earrings, or earrings where the post and body are the same gauge all around, doing this is easy to do, but because the "post" is SO short on these, barely enough sticks out from your earlobe to bend, and the earring body is a little too small and stiff to bend or widen easily. I even put them in backwards to see better, but being able to see what I was doing didnt matter much when the earring itself was the problem. It just feels like they weren't designed for people to put into their own ears, and they arent made equally either -- one pair could easily bend, another pair wouldnt budge without pliers. So I would sadly NOT recommend these, especially if you're putting them into a sensitive hole, because of all the manipulation you have to do. The 8mm fit into my 3rd hole and easily around my earlobe, but I couldn't snap them shut because there wasnt enough post sticking out of my ear to squeeze it tight or maneuver it into the back. I could with the 10mm because my 3rd hole is closer to the edge of my ear, but the earring is too big for the look I wanted. So I am returning these, which is too bad because they have a quality look and dodnt annoy my ears, even my recently reopened (after 15 years!) 3rd hole. There are other huggies on Amzn that have a hinge in the center of the hoop, which will be MUCH easier to clasp shut (they just cost more!). Ah well, it's not like I can leave the house and anyone can see them anyway.

I love the color, style, and overall look of these earrings, but the one I have been wearing for two months is tarnishing badly around the clasp. Also, they’re hard to close.

I bought these sets of earrings specifically for my new cartilage piercing. It’s still in the healing process which is why it looks a bit red, but the earring itself was very easy to put in. I had a very tiny post in previously which made it hard for me to find a hoop earring small enough to fit. This earring fit the requirements! It was super easy to clasp with no irritation.

First things first, these are perfect for that lightweight minimalistic look. I hate wearing heavy earrings. I bought the 4 pairs of 8mm. I have 3 lobe piercings on each ear. They fit perfect. I was afraid the 8mm were going to be too small for my 1st lobe piercing. They fit as huggie earrings in that hole and have more room in my two other holes.Now for the important instructions.You will need to put the earrings in backwards. That way you can see the hole for the post in the mirror.When you get the earrings they will arrive closed.You will have to gently pry the post open. Once you get the earring open, the post will be slightly distorted due to it's fragility. Now the most important part that will save you frustration, gently bend the earring more open until the post meets up with the hole or as close as possible. If the post over laps the back of the earring on either side; you will never get it in the hole. So be sure to open and close the hinge and check the line up before putting the earrings through your piercing. This will be the make or break step. Once you put the post in your piercing insert the post into the hole. You may need to apply gentle pressure and some finagling. Once that step is over. You will have to gently squeeze the earring to get it tighter and back to it's original shape. Try not to go over board and brake the earrings. They will be less likely to fall out or come undone if you give them the gentle squeeze.If you only have 6 piercings total like me, the extra pair is nice. Hopefully these earrings last me awhile. 3 of my piercings were semi closed so I did have to reopen them by pushing the earring through the front first before the back.

I like these and am wearing them but they were so hard to put on. The smaller part of the earring goes into a hollow end of the other and it’s so incredibly difficult to clasp. I had three people try after I couldn’t do it before we got them to close. So just have some patience and I think these are fine.

Perfect earrings exactly what I was looking for. A bit difficult to close took a couple tries but manageable.

Love the size, doesn't bother my ears, though physically impossible to fasten myself even with skinner piano fingers. None the less, I got my husband to help and he had no trouble (he's got big working hands, so it was just awkward for me to do it in the mirror without getting in my own way I think. Definitely will rebuy if I ever lose all pairs, but I can't imagine them falling out, so Im married to them and not mad about it. If you are a get them in and leave them in for months, years kind of earring person like myself, this is the way to go. Skip the frustration and have someone else fasten them and you won't be disappointed. I think its more about getting a good grip on the dainty cute hoop. (I was pretty annoyed at a point trying to do it myself and should have snapped the prong thing off, but it handled my aggression well even though it's fine.) I don't think I'll ever buy another set of hoops other than these, as a minimalist with sensitive ears. Worth every penny

I bought the 4 pack of these earrings with the sizes 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 14mm.I got these primarily because I was looking for dainty hoops to wear in my second lobe piercing, and these were honestly perfect!8mm seemed like it would work better for a nose ring, however 10mm hugs my ear nicely and it looks very dainty and cute.I would rate these 5 stars, but they can be incredibly hard to close. I’ve had earrings in this style that close the exact same way, but somehow these are more difficult to close.If you’re planning on swapping earrings frequently I would hesitate to recommend these, but if you’re using these as a daily earring then they’re fantastic.
