Comes wrapped in plastic???
I was super excited for these straws to come. Since I cut out plastic straws I wanted an alternative, so I ordered these right away. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was that the straws are in a cotton bag which was wrapped in plastic... The plastic wrap really defeats the object of the item being ‘eco-friendly’. So that was really disappointing and something that the seller could easily rectify. Other than that, the straws are beautiful and really easy to clean.

Great aside from the odd smell
Easy to clean (they come with a flexible brush) and great value.Only problem was that they came in a small bag made of burlap or something and it had a VERY strong smell of mold. This also affected the straws themselves and I had to disinfect them before use. This is likely due to poor storage or old stock before they were dispatched. Also, as everyone else has pointed out, yes the straws are contained inside a plastic package BUT I suspect this is a requirement as they are items shipped for use with food/drink so please consider that before giving a poor review! I'm only knocking off points due to the moldy smell, which may be a one-off occurrence.

Good but come wrapped in plastic.
I really like this product they were easy to clean and I love the colours they come in. I also like that they come with a brush which makes it easy to clean them and a bag to keep them in.I was however a bit disappointed that an eco friendly product came wrapped in additional plastic packaging seeming as these were bought to cut down plastic.Other than that good product.

Exactly as pictured and described. But heat and cold build up fast, heatsink style!
These are okay. One warning though: I bought these so I could sip warm and cold tea with my VR headset on. They transfer heat and cold exactly how a CPU heatsink would, so your tea will be warm to sip but the heat from long sips builds up and transfers to the outer straw (which can lead to a burn). Same for very cold drinks (the longer you sip, the colder the straw gets, sometimes making it sting your lips). In short, the longer you sip the colder or hotter the straw gets. Maybe buy the ones with reusable plastic tips, which thinking about it now is probably why those were invented lol :)I wont by these again for that reason. Until now I've used regular plastic straws which have never burnt or stung my lips. I might go back to plastic and put these aside for milkshakes only!Update: The straw cleaner is useless. It doesn't go through to the end. For this to be effective it needs to push right through and out the other end, or you just end up pushing gunk back and forth from both end. The straw cleaner is also even less useful with the bendy straws, as the cleaner isn't flexible.

Thanks goodness for re-usable straws
These straws are great, two different styles come in the pack 2 x bent and 2 x straight. My daughter loves them and they are so easy to clean. I hate paper straws so these are perfect

Great bit of kit
I ordered the four pack of this product and I'm extremely happy with the result. The straws are exactly as described and shown in the promotional images. They're nice and long, two straight and two bent, and come in a nice little cloth bag with a nifty little cleaning utensil. Sturdy and as one would expect, a straw for imbibing your liquid of choice! No more will you suffer the horror of paper straws literally disintegrating into your drinks.Granted I didn't buy mine for fast food beverages, rather a large 2 litre beer tankard made of glass. Worry not, I do not sit drinking beer from a straw, but I do like to fill it with ice and whatever soda takes my fancy at the time. The size of it makes drinking from it normally awkward, so these straws are a perfect addition for when I want to replicate the cinema experience (damn you, Covid!) in my home with a bucket of popcorn and a soft drink the size of a small dog.Highly recommended!

True to the picture
I actually got these as I've become addicted to making Nigella's strawberry crumble, which entails hulling 500gm strawberries! The metal straw hack for hulling is a must. Moreover, as plastic straws are now the work of the devil, and paper straws still unsustainable to a degree (and of varying usability), I was happy to make this small investment. The straws and bag are exactly as pictured, with petrol in a puddle colouring which I find very pleasing. The little cleaning brush is sturdier than I expected and does the job really well.
