GreenView Crabgrass Control Plus Lawn Food - 13.5 lb. Bag - Covers 5,000 sq. ft

My parents have went with Scotts fertilizer for years, with mediocre results. I started using GreenView last year. Immediately perks up grass, then keeps it looking good. However, this year I put down the crabgrass control early, as spring started somewhat soon here. Had to start mowing two weeks before anyone else, and to my amazement....we had no crabgrass! That has NEVER happened before! This stuff is amazing, and keep in mind, even if you don't buy it for this benefit: it IS less toxic to water runoff!

Takes a while to take effect. My lawn was infested with crabgrass at the beginning of the year, and now it's completely gone. I used two applications spread out over a few weeks, early in spring as the grass was coming back to life after the cold winter.

I used the product last year. It controlled the crabgrass better than Scotts which I have used for years. It also made the lawn very green and thick.

Have not seen any results at all from the product.

Best crabgrass control I have found.Use as directed and you will see a difference.As with any product follow the directions and it will reduce new crabgrass growth. Be patient. Try to use in controlled reduced amounts .Crabgrass is a pain and getting totally rid of it is costly and near impossible. The lawn service rewards with with new seeds and my beloved birds as well. I am happy just keeping it under control as chemical treatments are getting expensive. This fertilizer has given me the best control of crabgrass .

At this point I'm pretty disappointed in this product. I applied it as directed and really don't see any difference. I still have weeds, what looks like new crab grass sprouts as well.Alright that's it I want my money back, this product does not control crabgrass, it is worthless

I have used this product the past 3 years as a result of recommendations from a lawn care seminar by our state extension agent (not a brand recommendation but that Dimension be the crabgrass control ingredient) and it does work for me. Crabgrass is kept at bay for about 4 months - to the end of July, then appears at a reduced rate to what my untreated lawn previously had.

It's my second time using this product. It's expensive but works providing you follow the instructions closely.Timing is everything. Good Luck.
