Product works well. Fish were happy.

We had problems with our pond water when we first started out, and it caused sores on some of our fish. I used Melafix per the instructions and it cleared up the problem sores within a week. If you wait too long this product may not solve your problem and you may have to resort to actual medications, but I've used this several times over the past couple of years with great results and no negative effects to fish or plants. It isn't a product that will cause resistance to it's effects over time. I didn't give it five stars ONLY because it isn't really a medication (it's actually melaleuca or tea tree oil), but more of an astringent, and will not treat viral and severe bacterial issues. Think of putting iodine and a band aid on a sore to keep it clean while healing...same effect here, I believe. It says it's also good when introducing new fish, but haven't done that so don't know. I will say, though, that at one time I had a bunch of Japanese Trap Door snails, and they have slowly disappeared over time. I don't know if it was due to this product or not, so if you have snails you may want to check out that info before using this. All that said, our water parameters are great now but I do keep this on hand just in case.

The product showed up on time and was exactly what I was looking for, its nice to have a option like this for large tanks as regular stores only carry the small bottles. The price was great in comparison to having to buy multiple bottles in a brick and mortar store.

This product works. The price has increased over the last 8 months therefore if you find a deal jump on it. This is a must have for aquarist

The Product was easy to use, directions were straightforward. Have not yet seen any resolution of the problem it was used to treat.

Seems to work. I always use in combination with an anti-fungal. This is fairly concentrated, so should last me a long time.

Love this medicine! This bottle is worth the extra money. It is concentrated, so a little goes an extra long way!

I used the product not sure it worked as I had to remove the fish from the pond and treat them. It does make a lot of duds which makes it hard to observe the fish. It was easy to apply following label directions.
