SEC 96 Mars Amlogic S905W Quad Core 2GB RAM 16GB ROM Android 7.1 4K HD 2.4GHz with Bluetooth 2.1 Internet Box

My TV is a 2018 model Samsung TV, Full HD ( Non 4K). Comments based on you tube / USB stick viewing only. I do not have Netflix,etc. Nor do I use blue tooth,etc. I have hard wired the system- Mouse/Ethernet connection/Usb stick. The box is nice small and nicely finished. It come Preinstalled with Chrome/Facebk/Factory stability/kodi/Family Cinema/Netflix/Skype /Miracast/google/Google Playstore services/Blue tooth share/blue tooth remote/App Installer and many more. On this device the YouTube control bar has a Nerds View port. ( My other android box doesnot have this feature on the you tube control Bar.) Access it clicking on three vertical dots - at bar end. The c.bar features increase showing the icon at extreme right. click on same .The view port shows the incoming resolution (2k/4k/or any lower resolution) and the output resolution. It also shows the internet speed,etc. The output resolution shows only 1280 / 720P *( Which according to you tube is double the resolution.)2560 /1440. Since my tv is not 4k compatible and it does match with the TV box and hence MAY BE it is not showing 4k output. That is all i can say. Coming to the picture quality it is a little higher then my old Tv box. RESOLUTION: It has Auto resolution. there is no provision made for manual settings of the same and this is good because it reduces the hassles of resetting the resolution of the incoming videos when changing input devices/netflix etc. But again the makers should have given this option for the tech user.Temperature Rise: My room ambient temperature was about 23/24 degrees. After running for about 3/4 hrs the box was warm to touch which is good. But note- Would advise to keep box at least 3/4 inches above the desk and the bottom side open in order for free air flow. Box response is fast and have not experienced a hang up till writing this comment. There are lot of android apps deep in the menu. Overall the picture quality is better than my other MBOX device.

I am a very tech savvy person and to me this box didn’t come upto my expectations.When you turn off the power thru the remote and turn it on, the welcome display doesn’t show most of the times, instead the app you turned on last you switched off shows up again. All the open apps keep running in the background despite you power it off n on thru the remote. The only way to reboot the device is to plug off the power cable and then plug it back again which is very painful.Secondly, the Wi-Fi connection thru the 2.4ghz connection keeps breaking . I have a 100mbps internet connection and the max i can get on this device is 30mbps on running the speed test...Amazon prime keeps buffering on this box thru Wi-Fi connection ( problem rectified using an Ethernet cable though ).Hotstar app does not work on this box , after installing the app and attempting to play anything thru it , you get a warning that your device is rooted and the app wont work on it .Overall the device will stutter overtime because all the open apps never turn off in the background and rebooting is the only way to get it right and to reboot unplugging is the only way .Overall a very painful experience with this box. Have owned a T95 and cubetex box before. Cubetex is much better so far.

Iam using a 29" LG Flat XD CRT TV and not the one with hdmi input.Initially faced issues with output but it got solved when I changed the av cables. I connected red pin to yellow port and yellow pin to red port and white in its own place and the box started working fine.You can go to menu and select other settings and zoom in or zoom out the display and fit it to your screen size.The device comes rooted so most of the optimization apps worked fine and most of the pre installed apps were easy to remove.Wifi reception is excellent. Connected using mobile hotspot and apps like amazon prime, youtube etc works smooth without any buffering.It has Bluetooth connectivity as well.Interface is simple and remote given is a quality one and navigation is quite simple using it.Playstore comes preinstalled but compatibility of certain apps to this display size may be an issue.Device does not heat up much and almost 11Gb of memmory is available. You can also install apps from pendrives hdds etc.overall the box is for sure a value for money.only con is if u broke your remote thats its...It becomes useless...so bettwr handle the remote provided.

One time investment for this device. No need of Setup Box for watching TV. You can watch by downloading Jio Tv, Hotstar, and Youtube. A type of Android smart phone. Picture and sound quality is best. I am using it since January 2019 Did not face any problem till yet.

A nice product and must have for every LED / normal TVEveryone doesnt need all the default applicationsThere were many unwanted applications, but after removing them, the home page was not getting cleared of that which was removed.I had to install a new Android TV launcher to overcome this situation. If you have a solution / option to edit the home page then i prefer the default launcher, that was good.benefit is Play store is open and you can install anythingGood over all in performance and capacity due to the good hardware configurationI have used a similar product (Android Stick PC) for 5+ years which directly connects to HDMI port. and I was a fan of these small form factor devices. Stick PC is very costly compared to the box types, so this was the best fit, i found.

Very bad product, WiFi Range is very weak. Not even able to login on Google Play Store. Even after login Netflix,Prime Video & other streaming apps took too long to install & after that streaming was very poor. Not at all recommended.
