Direct fit on 2007 Focus SES and working well
I just bought the Focus and even though it has very low mileage it's still 17 years old and the shocks didn't feel very good. I bought these as economical replacements and though my perspective might be affected slightly by the fact that the original shocks turned out to actually be completely dead, such that I could pump them in and out with my hands, they made more than a world of difference in the way the car acts, and I never realized that bad shocks could affect every aspect of a car's handling performance.I definitely recommend these for the 2007 Focus as an economical replacement. The only thing else to mention is that the top mounting mechanism is slightly different than OEM but the Monroes have a conventional shaft with two rubber donuts and cupped metal washers and they bolt right up to the Focus shock tower.

Restores ride quality
Works as expected. Reduces rear suspension harshness, with slightly improved ride. No installation instructions (as commented by others) but there are many videos online. Yes the upper mount is different, but it is logical and works. See videos for proper torque specifications. Even if you don't do much car maintenance, you can do this, save a lot of money, and keep an old car on the road. If you have access to a lift you are golden. I didn't so I jacked up the rear and removed rear wheels. Watch the videos, plan all the tools you need, take your time and you are good. 5/3/23 Update: These don't really last. One has lead to tire cupping. Get OESpectrum instead.

Great set of shocks
These shocks work great. It seems as though they are bit softer than the stock set, but they provide a much smoother ride which is what I was looking for since I drive 50 miles to work every day. They fit as they are supposed to and took me all of an hour to put them in including time it took to jack up the car, take the wheels off, and get the tools out.

Easy install if you do your research
Mechanic wanted $2500 to replace suspension on my 2006 focus. Turns out it was only a bad rear shock. Replaced both for $60 myself. A little different than the OEM shocks so I had to look up the correct order of the pieces to install it correctly. Other than that, awesome quality for the money.
