I love that I can make my artwork super bright or very moody low light. These are great LEDs.

I purchased this tape for a project where it replaced four halogen fixtures mounted under the cabinets in a friend's kitchen. This tape was selected because it had the brightness we needed for the countertops, and it had the color temperature to match the halogen lights it replaced (3000k). The tape performs wonderfully and the construction of the tape's copper circuit board is excellent, with a very thick feel. I have zero concerns about the physical construction of the tape. I placed it into a square extrusion for maximum dispersion of the light across the countertop and backsplash. Once the installation was completed, the homeowners were thrilled with the outcome. The new light is vastly brighter and, since the fixtures were made to fit the cabinets precisely end-to-end, the countertop area is fully bathed in light. A dimmable driver was used along with a Lutron Caseta LED+ phase-adaptive neutral-wire dimmer for flawless dimming down to 1%. This was my first lighting project using this tape and it will not be the last.

Used these for mainly for a 3d printer since it used 24v i wanted lighting that I didn't need to convert and so these were the one to choose. They are way brighter than needed but with the ability to adjust the brightness they'll run cooler. For how much you get you'll be able to use them for multiple projects. I used some of what was left over for a workbench shelf. Used an aluminum led channel and dimmer switch and had a nice even light.Would highly recommend for any diy project. Works great for plants. Seem high quality.Update 5-2-22: I'm lowering my rating to 3 stars. This strip light is not one continuous strip, it's approximately 2-foot sections attached together. The only attachment between the sections are solder joints. So far I've had two of these solder joints fail in one 6-foot strip I've installed under a cabinet. I guess it must be because of heat-related expansion/contraction over time. The fix involves re-flowing the solder between the joints and/or applying more solder. You need to be careful because you can burn out the LEDs if they get too hot from the soldering gun.This kind of maintenance and hassle shouldn't be necessary, hence the 3 star rating. The LEDs themselves are bright with good color, but the fatal flaw with these is the way they've been put together, in soldered-together sections instead of one unbroken strip.

I bought these to use as task lighting for my shop work bench. I wanted something as bright as possible, and these light the bench like the sun. I used the attached adhesive to stick them directly to the underside of a painted shelf, with a 1x2 as a shield so you don't look directly at them. Note that because these are so bright they draw a lot of power. You need to be sure to think about the power draw and get a 24v supply with high enough wattage. This is also a problem because a lot of the low-voltage switches and wires you can buy aren't rated for enough amps to handle this (I think most are 3A, and you need more like 5.) If you don't plan for this they will heat up.

Lots of good things to say about this LED strip. Both the quality of light (a beautiful, rich golden-white visually comparable to bright incandescent) and quantity (enough to make a 100W incandescent bulb in the same room look like it adds almost nothing) are praiseworthy. The whole family is pleased with the result. The LEDs are grouped in 1" long segments, in series within the segment, but the segments are connected in parallel between the 24V rails. That means, even if one LED fails, the remaining segments should still work. I am also pleased to see that, instead of a single current-limiting resistor per segment (as would be the cheapest to manufacture,) there are several, spread out (possibly to avoid hot spots.) I perceive this as the manufacturer doing the right thing even if not everyone will notice.

The media could not be loaded.  I used two rolls of these grow lights wired together with wire connectors to complete my plant shelf. (Ikea Ivar system). They are very bright, and are encouraging variegation in the plants that have it already, (and some that don't) and my V. Jade is actually turning pink due to the placement. I keep them running from 6:30am-12:30am every day and use about 72kwh a month.

Super bright would recommend a dimmer to go along with this product for the times you want a little less light.

Ho acquistato un trasformatore per LED a 24V 150W quindi giustamente sovradimensionato per alimentare con tranquillità questi 5m di LED per un totale di 120W, alla misura di laboratorio però la corrente assorbita è di soli 4,4 @ V=23,86V => P=106W ca, inferiore ai 120W dichiarati dell'11%.

Utilizzati per creare due linee di illuminazione incassate in un soffitto in cartongesso in combinazione con i profili di alluminio appositi che si trovano sempre su Amazon.Con due segmenti da 1,80 cm (disposti lateralmente rispetto ai lati lunghi del letto) ho illuminato a giorno una camera da letto matrimoniale.La luce è piuttosto bianca ma la qualità e la potenza dell'emissione la rendono comunque gradevole.Considerando che in una camera da letto di solito ci sono anche fonti di luce secondarie (nel mio caso provenienti da delle nicchie/comodino e dalle cabine armadio) questa luce è utile quando serve illuminare bene l'ambiente.Quando accesi è praticamente impossibile distinguere i singoli punti di emissione luminosa.Vista la forte luminosità, se capita di fissarli per più di un paio di secondi, rimane un'immagine retinica per qualche secondo.Per utilizzare questi led insieme ai binari di alluminio bisogna considerare anche un buon alimentatore da 24v da scegliere in base alla metratura dei led che si utilizzaranno per proporzionare il wattaggio, possibilmente sovradimensionandolo.Consigliatissimi

Habe in unserer kleinen Küchenzeile 4,5 Meter dieses LED-Streifens (Lichtfarbe 4000k) in entsprechenden Alu-Profilen (hinter milchiger Abdeckung in den Ecken und transparenter Abdeckung unter den Küchenschränken) verbaut. Bei 100-prozentiger Leistung ist die Beleuchtung extrem hell, was aber gefällt. Durch einen eingesetzten Controller kann per Stimmbefehl (Alexa) oder Funk-Fernbedienung die Helligkeit angepasst werden. Nun wird sich der Streifen noch in Bezug auf Lebensdauer auszeichnen müssen (4 Wochen sind schon rum).

Ho acquistato questa striscia per la sua luminosità e devo dire che non ha disatteso le aspettative ! consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno necessità di tanta luminosità di acquistare questo prodotto o comunque un prodotto sopra ai 100W e 24V, non prendete i 12V perché a queste potenze scaldano d+ e si gustano prima del tempo.

Ho comprato questi led per illuminare la cabina armadio su due livelli, quindi ho usato tutti i 5 metri .Accoppiati con dei profilati di alluminio con copertura opaca, fanno tanta luce e la sensazione è di una fonte di luce unica e non si vedono affatto i singoli led . Consigliato
