Better than nothing
Only 3 stars I'm afraid but hear me out, these are my reasons:- The mattress itself is thin (maybe 4cm at the very most) but despite that, it was definitely better than not having it.- The mattress and pillow smell quite strongly of chemicals when new, so strong in fact that just having the bag in a room with the windows close for a few hours and it's very noticeable. Hopefully this will fade away as time goes by.- The pillow is very narrow and could have easily had a few extra inches in width based on the carrier bag it comes in. I guess I'll use that space for an extra pair of socks or two.- The carrier bag... hmmm... the carrier bag... well here is where it all falls down I'm afraid... at a guess, it cost no more than a few dollars/quid to manufacture. It feels very flimsy and looks like it could give up the ghost at any moment... So far I've only taken it with me by car, and I know how to handle my belongings with care, so for now it's still in pristine condition. How this survives baggage handling at the airport in a few weeks time however... we'll have to wait and see!... I definitely won't be surprised if I can't pull it along behind me anymore in the way it is intended, and I definitely will be angry about it. The annoying thing is, it's not like a cheap piece of hand luggage that you can just pop to the shops to "just get a new one", there is literally nothing else on the market that I've seen that will take the shape of this bed! So when this bag gives up on me, I'm really not sure how I'll be carrying it around after... Tempur? Would you like to make any suggestions? Are you really expecting me to have to buy a new set just so I can use the bag?- Also, the design of the bag isn't optimal in terms of the opening, although it has two zips to pull back a strip to easy extraction/insersion of the mattress, that strip could have been 25cm wide rather than the tiny 10cm which just make the in/out process that little bit more annoying. What I would do differently if I was in charge at Tempur:- the mattress would be thicker but shorter, so no increase in overall size. I'd have to do market research to confirm, but as far as I'm concerned, the part of the body that needs the most support when using a topper is from the shoulders down the hips, the whole "leg length" is just wasted in my opinion (I might even end up cutting mine shorter just to save some weight). As it's a travel set, I probably would make it slightly narrower too. Seriously, who needs a full-width single bed (Ok, maybe I'm a little too harsh on that last bit...).- The bag, well, as the bag has the brand name printed in bold on it (I might colour mine in with a black marker pen to make it less obvious), I would want the bag to be as awesome as the mattresses I sell in it, you know? Like, Good publicity rather than rubbish publicity? Sure, the bag doesn't need to be crush resistant of course but it should be able to withstand harsh handling from careless airport staff and the wheels should actually turn freely rather than make a grinding sound as if they didn't even have any ball bearings fitted? After all, it IS a travel kit....isn't it?So, as the title of my review say... "Better than nothing"... I just wish it was a lot better! (And yet, I would pay more for a better product, a lot more if I had to!)So:- 4/5 stars for the mattress as it's thin, smelly, and unnecessarily long,- 1/5 stars for the bag as it was clearly made on the "super-super-cheap" and I dread how quickly it's going to fail on me in the coming weeks.

Super Comfy Tempur Set
Very comfy mattress and pillow. I am using on my sunlounger and therapy bed at home. If you had to travel with this set, the mattress is a little bulky but obviously you need some thickness to be comfortable. Overall I would recommend and buy again 👍

TEMPUR NEVER FAILS A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP
Recommended by my osteopath as approaching third trimester and having to sleep on my side. Was causing current pain on mattress which was not memory foam. All sleeping pain resolved. Great for travel and reasonably light to carry.

Tempur Travel Set
Have problems with thoracic spine and got a great nights sleep for thefirst time in ages with this. I do actually use it on my own bed at the momentand its amazing. Not such a fan of the pillow, probably just the width butits better than nothing.I think the travel case is superb, as its all quite heavy - the wheeled bag iseasy to use and makes sense to have.
