Never used an electric toothbrush before but tried this on advice of my dentist. Bit weird at first and takes a bit of getting used to. following the instructions of moving the brush around the mouth when prompted by a buzz gave a great clean. Glad to say that fully charged it lasts longer than it says in the leaflet by a couple of days

Built to a price, works well
I immediately noticed that this was slightly less powerful sonic action than my last sonicare. The battery doesn't last very long either .But,it does an adequate job of cleaning and for the price you can't really complain.I would recommend if your budget is tight but personally I would spend a bit more.

This is my second sonicare toothbrushI had the first one for many years until I couldnt purchase the toothbrush heads for it anymore even though the base still worked.My wife has had quite a few different ones/brands in the same time I had my sonicare and all of hers stopped working after a couple of months.Only given three stars for travelling because Iv never really taken my toothbrush anywhere

Great value and good cleaning teeth
Our family now has 4 of those tooth brushes. Personally I find them cleaning better than Oral B and these are much cheaper than the other Sonicare. I don't see much difference to the more expensive models, which we had 2 of. We don't use the advanced features much anyhow.Doesn't come with travel case but we don't travel much and when we do, we just use zip lock bags.

Rubbish, don’t waste your time
Never had a bad thing to say about Philips Sonicare toothbrush until purchasing this one. Battery life absolutely useless, had to charge it every few days despite the advertising saying that the battery lasts 14 days. This is with standard use - twice a day. Returned once thinking I’d received a faulty item, only to be sent another with exactly the same issues - quality control clearly lacking on this model. Waste of time.

the jury is still debating on this one
I purchased this unit as a replacement for a now broken unit - this as a family is probably the 5th or 6th unit we have had in the house over time. I remain unsure about the battery as the first time it lasted only two days, after another recharge it lasted 7 days and we shall see after it's third charge. of course the battery may NOT yet have reached it's peak performance as 2-3 charges can be required.I also suspect there may be a fault within the unit as a couple of times the unit has not switched on when pressing the start button - last night it took 5 attempts to turn on, lets hope the problem does not persist otherwise Philips will be getting a strongly worded letter of complaint! we shall see how it performs in the next few weeks. thus far despite being the newest unit in the house it is facing the prospect of being the worst and we have only ever had Philips brand.Due to expected lifespan i don't think products of this nature are worth more than £20 a go so in my opinion all electric toothbrushes are overpriced and why anyone would want to pay £100+ for one is beyond me!! [there are units out there that demand over £100 each]
