There are straps over the chest. I think you should add straps around the waist too.
I love this product. I do not have to run with my water bottle in my had anymore.

Very nice pack for long runs, doesn't hold temperature very well though
I bought this pack so that I wouldn't have to carry so much in my hands and around my waist during long runs, and I have to say, overall, it's great. The water pouch holds a lot. I took it for a test drive on a 3-mile run in blistering South Texas summer heat with the water pouch filled up, and with all the drinking I did to stay hydrated, I still hadn't gone through even a fourth of the pouch's capacity. It also has several smaller pouches separate from the water pouch where you can store things like your phone, iPod, keys, etc. And I never had any problems drinking water from the tube along my run. The pack never felt too loose around my shoulders or too heavy on my back either, which was awesome for someone like me who's not tall. My only criticism is that the water pouch is not insulated, so it doesn't hold cold water very well. A fellow runner advised me to just fill the pack with mostly ice on hot days like this and let the ice melt along the run, so I'm going to try that next time. Overall, however, I'm very happy with the pack. I'll be making good use of it on my Run 50 States journey.

Great bag to use for working out or hiking
This water bag is like many others on the market that works great. It is lightweight and very convenient to have while working out or going on a hike. It holds a good amount of water and the additional pockets on the bag that are held closed by zippers, make great spots to put things like your wallet or any needed gear for your hike. Being ex military I have been issued camelbacks(another brand) in the past, and the one thing that I wish this bag had like those was the ability to fill the bag without having to take it out of the carrier. The bladder has the fill cap and there is no access to it from the outside. It is not a big deal and is still a great bag anyways. Just one of those “first world” “I want it easier” problems that’s not actually a problem.

Bought 6 for party favors. Worked great.
I bought 6 of them (3 sets) for a 9 year olds birthday party that was held at an outdoor amusement park in the heat. They worked great. No manufacturer defects in any of them, no leaks, and the fabric all seemed to be stitched well.Size wise, 8-9 year olds is really the youngest I'd go. Younger kids can certainly wear them, but it starts to fit awkwardly. My skinny 5 year old could not wear it comfortably and they straps hit too far out on his shoulder and there's no way to cinch it up even further. The design has some positives, like the velcro to hold the bladder in place, the hole for the tube to go through, and the multiple places to attach the chest strap. The main negative is getting this thing dry. I haven't figured out how to get it completely dry inside yet. For that reason, I'm not sure how long it'll be before it gets gross inside. For party use, I didn't want to run soap through them as I as afraid I couldn't get the soap taste out. I tested one with just a quick rinse of water. The plastic taste was barely noticeable and it might have just been that new smell. I felt fine passing them out to friends for use during the party.

Works Perfectly
Bought this about 2 months ago and have used it 3 times a week on runs ranging from 3 miles to 10. It is light weight and water resistant. The hose works well (although showing some signs of wear after me biting it). Took me a while to figure out how to position the hose properly (shameful amount of time) but it works better now that I know the hoops in the front are used to rig it across your chest. The bladder is tricky to clean and dry out - so I stopped trying to completely dry it. I rinse it well before refilling but will completely dry it before I store for the winter. When I connect the hose I also suck out the excess air (gets rid of the slosh) and I spit the first few mouthfulls to ensure all of the old water is out. Have a place you can hang the hose and bladder to dry.The pack is easy to clean (rinse and dry) and dries completely in a few hours.Quality is great - price was perfect. Pro Tip - load it up with ice before your run (as much as possible) and than add water. You will have a mini AC unit on your back for the first 30 minutes of your run.

I LOVE it!
I love this for my long runs in the heat. It works great! I fill it with ice and water, seal it, then I tip it upside down and suck out the water until I just get air. That way it doesn't slosh much (that sound drives me nuts). It is lightweight, doesn't chafe. It is so much cheaper than the others! YOU DO HAVE to Bite and pull back hard or you will get no water. That should settle down over time. Then push back if it doesn't self seal. NO LEAKS. This is awesome. Only small complaint is that the blue cover for the mouthpiece broke off with a slight tug by me. It is still useable and I never really needed the cover anyway. Love this better than the camelback I ordered which leaked!

Works well; doesn't bounce around (much)
I've used this hydration pack for jogging a couple times, now. It works well. I do like other reviewers have mentioned- I invert it after filling with water and suck out the air to avoid sloshing around. It fits well on me (38 in chest) and only moves a little when it is nearing empty. It is not enough to be annoying, but the movement could probably be eliminated is the manufacturer added an elastic, buckling waist strap. I run in the south (90 degrees, 55% humidity), so the pack and straps are thoroughly wet where it they contact my back and shoulders. The fabric soaks up very little perspiration and dries pretty quickly when hung on a hook.

Nice pack, but bladder is very difficult to clean
I really love the fabric backpack part of this unit. It's light, comfortable, fits well, and is easily cleanable. The bladder, though, while it works very well its a huge pain to try and clean and dry out. Unlike other bladders which open completely from the top, there is a screwcap on the side of this one. This makes opening the bladder up to air-dry difficult to impossible. I have to wipe it out with paper towels, stuff it with dry paper towels, and hang it out to dry in *just* the right way so that the bag doesn't collapse on itself and trap moisture in the unit.So overall, I'd give the unit 4 stars, but for the price its impossible to beat.
