Shanora Williams brings forth her very best with this continuation in the Cane series! Breaking Mr. Cane picks up where we left off in Wanting Mr. Cane and I was completely taken aback at just how intense a ride this would be. Everything was and is still turned upside down as secrets were revealed which left Cane, Kandy and her parents reeling. I was almost afraid as to what could possibly happen next and if the hurt and the disappointment felt by so many could be resolved.What I truly adored about this book was the chance to get to know Kandy a bit better as she is now a college freshman and living a life outside of her small bubble. I loved her roommate and some of the new friends she has started to make. Her life seems to be on the right track, even without a certain Quinton Cane nearby.But make no mistake about it, the seemingly taboo love that Cane and Kandy share is never far from both their thoughts and their minds. With both their POV's once again, we get to share in their longing and their guilt at what had transpired. But the heart wants what the heart wants and let's just say that despite promises and determined intentions, the passionate love affair that Kandy and her Cane once enjoyed may not be over just yet.I'll leave you with that thought and encourage you to read this book and get lost in this all-consuming forbidden romance that I cannot get enough of!! To say I need book 3 stat is an understatement.Definitely some of Shanora Williams's best work, I happily give Breaking Mr. Cane a solid 5 stars!!

OMG!!! I can not get enough of this story, thousands and thousands of stars for Mr Cane.This series is getting better and better and I do not have enough words to describe the perfection that the author brought us.In this second installment Kandy and Cane continue with the problems to be together, both have to overcome all the obstacles that cross their path and it is increasingly difficult for them. Both brave and strong facing everything to defend their love.I love how Kandy despite being so young is very mature and faces everything and everyone to defend what she feels for Cane and Cane is completely and absolutely perfect, I loved the way he protects Kandy, his way of caring for her, protect her and think about her before him. Their scenes together are full of passion and are super sexy, the attraction between them is almost palpable throughout the story, ufff, they left me sighing and craving for more and more.<b>This story is powerful, intense, sexy, full of anguish and completely emotional, the author did it again and brings us a complete masterpiece that had me practically inhaling the pages from beginning to end, a forbidden romance that feels so right.</b> Even though it is cliffhanger and I can not wait for the next installment, I loved it, I would not mind having more and more of this epic romance.Completely recommended. It is a must read for those who love forbidden romances like me.

The gripping continuation to Wanting Mr. Cane!This story picks up right where we left Cane...Derek found out that his best friend was sleeping with is daughter. It all just hit the fan!!Cane is left with a business that is losing investors because they witnessed the exchange with Derek, his best friend hates him, his ex-girlfriend Kelly is blackmailing him and Kandy has left for college. Cane has a full plate!!!Kandy knows that her parents are both crushed and disappointed. She's off to college on a scholarship the very next day. She promises herself that she is going to start over. She caves and calls Cane but he's distant and at that point, she decides to get the real college experience.Cane knows he should stay away and give Kandy the opportunity for a normal college life...be he just can't.So many obstacles for these two. And that ending....September cannot come soon enough. I need more of this taboo story. It's sexy, so freakin' hot and takes me for an incredible ride every time. I cannot wait to fins out what is going to happen next!!!

The second book in the absolutely engrossing Cane series. In this book it follows on from that massive cliff hanger in the first book and ends on an even more climatic hanger. I love it!So much more is revealed of Cane and his background but by the way the storyline is going there are some unbelievable secrets to be revealed. I can’t wait!Kandy and Cane have up to now tried to appease everyone else but themselves when they finally conclude why are they? I was so stoked by what happened in this book. As for Kelly? WOW who knew what she was hiding. This storyline just gets more compelling after each page that you are so engrossed you don’t even register what’s happening around you in real life!The age gap and kink are the key to the captivating passion between Cane and Kandy but it is also the emotional issues that abound, especially with Kandy’s parents. This read again had me captivated and I went through every emotion I have. At worst the hatred and anger for what happens at Kandy’s college to the deepest swoonfest for the love between the forbidden couple.I cannot rate this book high enough or shout out about it any louder. An absolute MUST READ series and another five star read. Amazing!

I love the 1st book, this one so intense some part. I was keep going I want to know what happens next. Very interesting read.

Having waited for the second installment i thought I was prepared for another dose of Mr Cane. Hell no. I practically inhaled the pages of this book. My kindle almost burned with the heat from the story. Superb writing. Shanora has an ability to make a potentially taboo subject into a believable love story. Can't wait for next installment. Must read 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nobody does forbidden love like Shanora and she does it so good! Cane is everything you want in dirty, mysterious and sexy. I am so in love with this series so far and cannot wait for book 3!
