I like the book it’s not exactly like the show they changed some things on the show. I really like the book i like the baxter family feels like I’m part of the family.

It was an awesome book.

This book is perfect for Christians that love a good novel but don’t want to dabble into the sexually explicit stories of the regular romance novels.It’s very relatable and would teach you so many life lessons while enjoying an amazing story. Buy it please.

This is a beautiful story, as are all of them in this Redemption Series. You did need to ready in order since each one builds on the prior. Good Christian book that deals with what are world is going through in real life. I have already purchase the next book in the next series.

I’m still reading this one but it has a great story. I love all her books that I have read so far!

Another book of the Baxter Family drama. This one is the first of the series. Filled with a shocking betrayal,difficult decisions, and a reason to hope.The book Remember is the second one in the series. Love this author.

I was just recently introduced to Karen Kingsbury, and have fallen in love with her writing style. This book introduces the Baxter family, and is a must for anyone reading the Baxter series, because it's where the characters begin to be introduced.Even though it is a Christian romance, the story has much more depth than the pocket paperbacks that proliferate everywhere. The characters tend to be somewhat idealistic, both those who lead Christian lives, and those who profess to be Christians, but just function "on the surface;" however, she uses them to illustrate to the reader how a Christian should react and respond to similar situations in real life, and even quotes numerous Scripture references to help the reader who might still be doubtful. Non-Christians are portrayed realistically (but without any offensive language), both in their lifestyles and how they interact with Christians, and with how Christians interact with them.The plot deals with the relationship of a husband and wife when they encounter marital difficulties. It quickly becomes a real "page-turner", in which the reader is eager to find out what "happens next." It doesn't take long for the reader to realize the dilemma the characters face, and what decisions they SHOULD make, however difficult it is to do so. The author presents the characters in such a way that you feel like they're family members by the time you finish the book, leaving you to be eager to pick up the next one in the series.

Because I am a person who relies on faith and I believe in the power of prayer and following the Lord's commandments, I find this book and the others very enjoyable. I find them quite believable and they keep my interest. It is so refreshing to find a series of books that don't contain bad language and acceptable sex outside of marriage.

Reading

This is the first of the redemption series all of which are worth reading. Great story of one family and their journey through life. A normal family with all the ups and downs but all dealt with understanding the value of prayer and a relationship with God.

This is the first book of the series about The Baxter Family.A beautiful book about Forgiveness.The power of God in Kari's life is huge, and she finds the strength to forgive her husband Tim of having an affair with one of his students.This was my first book that I have read by Karen Kingsbury and will definitely not be my last!!!!
