PHILIPS 416024 Landscape Lighting 18-Watt T5 12-Volt Wedge Base Light Bulb, 4-Pack

I tried a competing product that was much cheaper to replace a burned-out bulb in some stairway accent light fixtures. The bulb lit, but would constantly blink. After trying all of the new bulbs and the existing still-working bulbs in all of my fixtures (3), I confirmed that the new bulbs were somehow incompatible with my fixtures. I also discovered a label inside my fixtures that stated a blinking bulb was associated with overheating and should be removed. So, I returned them and bought these name-brand Philips bulbs—and they just worked (no blinking).

It's a tiny incandescent light sized to fit particular fixtures... like my under-counter lights. There are some other cheaper no-name Chinese brands out there which prob. get the job done just as well, but I trust Philips as a brand. Replaced a dead bulb (no-name Chinese) which lasted about a year. The bulb is still going strong. What can I say, it's a lightbulb. If you need one, I'd recommend these, but wouldn't steer you away from a cheaper bigger pack of ones made in china if you have more than one or two to replace and you aren't concerned with getting a good "name brand" pack.

Just enough brightness for garden pathway. Can last over 10 years.

Getting the correct light bulb is challenge. This one matches the size, fit, and color of the ones in our kitchen. LED bulbs would have been an option but we had a recent incident with LED bulbs interfering with WiFi, TV, garage door opener, pretty much anything with a radio. The other LED bulbs that remain in the house do not interfere but trying out new ones is tricky. These incandescent bulbs are fine.

What is there to say? They work. You can't ask much more of a light bulb than that, except to say that they seem to last just as long as the ones I bought at the big box stores for a much higher price.By the way, when installing these bulbs, no matter where you bought them, do NOT touch the glass with your bare fingers. Doing so leaves minute traces of body oil on the glass, which heats up when the bulbs are burning (they get very hot) and will cause the bulb to burn out very quickly. Don't use a tissue, either, as many brands contain some lotion. Use a piece of plastic wrap, Some low-voltage fixtures these days include a little square of foam fabric to be used for that purpose. Use it, and then save it with your bulbs for future use!

Bought these for some under-cabinet lighting in our kitchen. I think a 4-pack from Phillips was $4.44?Anyway, the first two I installed worked great. The third one didn't. So I tried the fourth one. It didn't work either.So, I took one of the first two bulbs and put it in the third socket. It worked. So I put the third bulb in the open, second socket. Didn't work. To summarize, I tried every combination of bulbs 3 and 4 from the package with the 3 sockets I had open. Neither bulb worked in any of the 3 sockets.So, 50% of the package was useless.As was Amazon and Phillips. Amazon sends you to Phillips's Customer Service.This was a $4.44 package. I spent more time explaining the issue to the Phillips customer service representative than it was worth. At the end, she wanted me to take pictures of the bulbs, take pictures of the sockets, try to find a model number for the lighting housing, etc.No thanks. I'll just buy from your competitor next time.So, if you REALLY need these, just go in knowing that it's more like $2.22 a bulb, because 1/2 the package may be dead on arrival. These lights are truly long lasting. This was my second time ordering and the first lights I have used for 3 years and they are still working.

Fast delivery. I had to bend the pins a little to make them fit my appliance, but otherwise the lights worked as expected. Will purchase again.

Bulbs are so easy to replace(push/pull). One of three bulbs was burned out on under cabinet light over kitchen sink. It was amazing how much brighter that one light added. I now have 3 spares as they came in a pack of 4'
