Not easy to use but with practice you will get good results
I tried creating chocolate chess pieces using this mould - it's quite tricky to get the pieces out without breaking as some of the details are too shallow which means when you get them out they either break in half or some of the details don't come out - I didn't managed to get one of the kings to come out with the cross on the top intact. I ended up making all pieces from sugar modelling paste which did work quite well. I think dark chocolate would probably work better but milk was very difficult - in fairness it was a very hot day as well which didn't help. The mould is good quality and does work - the pieces look good once you get them out although you will have a line down the middle where you join them but they still look good. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase - just takes a bit of practice!

Doesn't really work for chocolate
The peices are too small and delicate and break easily. Difficult to fill. Also only has one half of each set of peices so need to buy two to make a full colour at once

Disappointing
Absolutely rubbish bought this to make chess pieces for my husbands birthday cake and it was far too thin the pieces just snapped when removing managed to get about 3 pieces out of the full mould out ! Tried umpteen times and same results

Did the job
Bought the name a chocolate chess set for a photography project. Good product. Would be good if came as a set of 2 for the price.

Waste of money
If you intend to use this with sugar paste don't bother. Virtually impossible to remove without breaking as the are far to shallow.

size is too small and not depth enough
it's too small. It would be better if the mould size is doubled.
