Brand preferred by Dr Burt Berkson of the Integrative Medical Center of New Mexico, who used intravenous lipoic acid in treatments of many advanced cancers (he treated my bladder cancer and has me on maintenance oral doses) and is the CDC expert on intravenous Alpha Lipoic Acid and hepatotoxic poisoning, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1990-present. Berkson insists on European sourced alpha lipoic acid, which this is, because of its purity compared to asian sources. He also says that if a person has purchased the correct ALA, one's urine will smell like asparagus afterwards, and it does with this one.
